Doesnt solve the problem though so come up with a solution or dont dis!

As far as I've seen revolt planets doesnt even work, or atleast it hasn't whenever I have tried it. And when I have seen it work it works only once and doesnt untrain very many at all.

If you want to be able to destroy everything then fine, make an option that will destroy resource planets.
The problem here is that when people reach a certain size they are wiped out so that the bigger guys can raid all of their planets.
I say make them unraidable.

I thought ascension was supposed to be about skill, not allying yourself with the whole first page in the rankings. :-)

The problem is not that we are raided right away but we will if we get to big its just not really ineteresting for anyone to try to get there and then being bashed down again.......

I discovered today that raiding or even just attacking from a high rank is impossible.

So... is there even a point in having a strike?

Indeed admin just made raiding very difficult from my rank8 i couldnt even raid ppl on page 2/3.

So you can all stop complaining now you got your way, I want to see some non-cop guys getting up there!

Look! I don't think guided planets should be unraidable; however, I do think that, after you reach a certain influence power you should be unable to raid from those below you in influence power. Yes this means that accounts like mine will not raid people again (I rarely do anyway, unless they do something to piss me off). I fully support an update like this. I think the smaller accounts should be allowed to grow without fear of being raided, at least from the bigger guys. If they want to raid themselves or us, then, by all means, go for it. Of course, if you do raid me, prepare to never have a defense again :) I may not be able to take them back, but I guarantee you won't keep them!

you can still drop rank easily.
I've been told what at least 1 person did.
he drops rank
uses the rank modifier (he was ~give or take 10 ranks, about 40 ranks higher than the target) and still got a !!130%!! bonus to attack and raiding.

with his 65k fleets and no mothership he beat 140k fleet defence and a 40 bil ms.
When i got told this i was like WTH. (btw the dude is now about rank 110). he dropped in rank, which i don't care. He was ABOVE the target, and still got a friggin 130% attack boost on him.

IMHO the modifier shouldn't be based on current rank but influence power ONLY.

So with a 130% boost he managed to make 65k fleets beat 140k fleets? I think you need math lessons.

Maybe if one guy was at 0 and the other was at 40 odd.

Anyway this can be locked, admin has pretty much solved the problem I cant choose to raid anyone at all on either first page or even 1rank below me, so everyone can be happy now!

its the problem that nobody can ever catch up to the people on top even if they do double ascensions i really aint bothering playing anything i dont have even chances on......

Yes you cant raid me right now but eventually you will if i put enough resouces in and it will only make me a good farm there no chance to actually do much against the top accounts

Im gona experiment a bit with a couple of stats and see if it is possible to raid without selling strike.
