Also, I don't think Roxio works well with my compy..o.o

and i dun wanna install nero or alcohol... since I'm only doing very simple buring things...

so.. I'm wondering...do I even need Roxio? or can I uninstall it?
It seems to me vista has a "burn" button that works better than roxio, so can I uninstall roxio?

dont worry! I was too until recently. i dont know the answer coz im not familiar with vista, but im sure somebody does!

wats this bloating i hav a del inspiron with xp and im having no problems.(2nd hand) and no progams and stuf have been manualy deleted. usually the laptop memory is 50% full (59 gb is total for memory capacity)

You don't need roxio

you should have it in one of the 50 CD that came with your Dell if you want to put it back on...check to be sure

well since mine was previously enjoyed it came with none, had to order those 3 cds. do u mean roxio cd creator? if so i find it darn useful. if i kept all the stuff i ever downloaded of the net the memory would be full. those 4.7 gb dvd cds+ cd creator are a man combo to save info off my pc. hell even used that to create 2 back up cds of my info incase i need to reformat it again.

it is useful...but you don;t really need it

starry wanted to get rid of stuff, and didn't feel she could use it...as long as she's got the cd's she can put it back on later

roxio is good, but there's better. i prefer NTI CD & DVD-Maker Gold, comes with the acer package. i used to have roxio, but it kinda installed itself on every cd i burned and then on the every comp without roxio i run that cd.

btw acer is cheaper and better

Screw roxio. get nero, or something better (nero isnt THAT good).
Linux owns all, but i use vista cus i got a free copy. all hail the internet.
You can get an insane amount of free programs for burning shiz and all that. (nero, iso creators, etc.)
download azureusthen: go to btjunkie.com and downlaod torrents for all kinds of programs. basic pc knowledge mite b needed for some installations, but I have downlaoded insane amounts of free programs. thank the lord its legal in Canada. got flash, fireworks, photoshop 7 and elements, CS2, wordperfect 12, free copy of vista, etc. - the list goes on.

If you try it, i suggest you check out btjunkie.com before you download azureus.

It's not legal, but not enforced either so in a way ..

Actually I don't know where you read this because te canadian law includes all copyrighted material, which includes music xD
