because were worried about the staff section, 7 hooves means mud, lots of mud...all over the staff section

Deteriorating? The thread was made by Tok`ra. It can't possibly deteriorate to anything lower than what is was when it was made.

Don't be so sure. Tok'ra are like onions. Sure, they make you cry, but that's not what I meant. They have layers. Layers of spam, but layers nonetheless. I believe this was one of the upper layers of Tok'ra. Once you get deeper, it deteriorates pretty rapidly.
