try that noob, jeez you know nothing about maths :roll:

Are you joking? 0 - 0 x 2 x 0 x (0 x 0.5) - 0^5=0

Something subtracting zero does not make the zero negative anyway. I have no idea what ": 0" means.

I am bad at picking up on jokes and sarcasm, I am not gala I believe that ~phoenix~ is though.

I have only declared war on 73 people, because I normally do not declare war when I farm.

Somehow... 0^0 is, funnily enough, 1. :)

Continuing from there we can construct very interesting and very 'illogical' mathematics. ;) I believe it is connected to 'imaginary' mathematics... but I am known to make mistakes.

i had almost the SAME example in school...my maths teacher gaved it to me because i was making fun out of her...but i got the right "answer" so i got an A in mathc....and lajh.....A is 5 here in slovenia....u know :-D

In our system, 5 is mediocre. I'll assume you intend to suggest that you are teh Mathlord... (lol, I know one who goes by that very name) congratulations. I am... impressed. :)

What IS the correct answer to Lajh's little rhyme?

i'm not the math lord...i had help from my older brother...who i can say is a mathlord....he "helped" me :P i didn't have 0^5...so i don't know or better said i'm not sure what that means....i have few ideas..but the asnwer isn't logical....

the answer is -0

well....u told me what 0^5 means lol...but i didn't get quite the right asnwer..damn... :evil: meh..at least i got to the "0^5ˇpart :D

0 - 0 x 2 x 0 x (0 x 0.5) - 0^5=0

That part of the problem equals zero but what does : mean? I have taken several math courses and have never seen it.

9 : 3 = 3

Ok so if : = divide then the problem would look like this 0 - 0 x 2 x 0 x (0 x 0.5) - 0^5 / 0 so it would be 0/0 which is not negative zero.

0-0=0
0x2=0
0x.5=0
0^5=0

Zero minus zero is zero not negative zero, and zero divided by zero is not -0. I do not see how the answer could be -0.

ok how much is -0?

its like calculating infinity. infinity + infinity = 2 infinities

"-0 may be used to denote a quantity which is less than zero, but which is too small in magnitude to be rounded down to -1"

So basically -0 could mean "below zero" but the zero is not actually negative.

guys, negative zero doesn´t exist, just like positive zero, zero is zero .. basta!
