So when we can spend our life pts. on descending stuff

Question : if the account you ascended with does not exist anymore and you descend, what happens?

yes- it will be like the weapons... you will get a % of what you ascended with deposited to bank....i have not decided if i add to your shell account, or offer a replacement of shell account goods....ie - you go 'back in time' to get what you had at time of ascension.... or you get the % added to shell 'current time' ....

Also I think it would be a good idea to add the % to our current accounts. Because we have invested all this time into another account, just to go back in time? What about the percentage being calcualted from our current ascension accounts rather then just what we had when we ascended? This would make more sense because of our time investment into our ascended accounts.

Just a suggestion but it might help if you read the whole thread.

But I can see the need for clarification. In this thread it was mentioned that a percentage of what we had when we ascended will be converted to naq and deposited into our main accounts. This would happen when we chose to descend ourselves back to the physical plains. The other suggestion was that we would be given back our accounts that we had before we ascended. I really don't feel this is a good idea as my current main account is better then the one I had when I ascended. The only other thing I addressed was that the percentage should be based on our present ascended accounts, not just when we did ascend, as our present ascended accounts represent the time we have placed into ascension. It would make sense, because if you were only interested in main and left your ascension account in wanting then you wouldn't have very much more to descend with. However some could argue that this would be like playing two accounts to the advantage of one; using your ascended account to strengthen your main account. I would say that if you had a very strong ascended account chances are you have ascended more than once and it would have been more profitable for you to have just focused on the main account. However, if you have only ascended once and are only interested in playing in the main and want to descend then chances are you won't have made any real progress in ascension, at least not enough to make it unfair by having a super strong ascended account just to descend. There was also a concern that "what if you don't have your main account anymore?" Perhaps a new account would be generated for you and the naq deposited there? Anyways these are just my thoughts.

Ok, short version: just above.

What if we got a percentage of the account we ascended with, plus a percentage of our current ascended account? Rather then just one percentage of either. That would make it a little more fair and reflect the time put into both without making a super-main account.

Im going to state my opinion on descension. Based on what I'v heard.

If we are descended in the ascended server. I agree that the account should either be put on hold/vacation until we ascend again or something..

But from what i'v heard people might lose the things they have build up on the main server.

I knew ascension would be a battle. But this is basically all or nothing. And I think being descended should not affect your main account WHATSOEVER. The maximun it should do is remove the red title we all get.

Anyone want to comment then please do.

I have this feeling that when we are able to descend, the ascended server is not going to be very large or exciting.

I know quite a few people who dont see the point to being Ascended, and pretty much do nothing with their ascended account.
Looking through the ranks its obvious to see. Out of 20 or so pages, there are only about 9 or so that look to be interested at all.

Maybe not putting descension in right now is a good idea.

One would have to question the validity of having an ascended server at all if only a hand full of players were actually 'playing' up there...

Speak for yourself, but I do believe there are some of us that want out. Meaning we want what we lost when we ascended back. If you want to stay in ascended then that is your choice but I don't think it is fair to say that they should hold off on descension for your sake. I would also add that there are ALREADY only a hand full of players who are actually 'playing' up there. I say I can't wait for descension.

I agree with you Phoenix, I don't think you should loose anything from the main account either. I know I have put way to much time in rebuilding it (main account), all I want is a percentage of what I lost when I ascended to add to my current main account.

Well if you wanted all that then you shouldnt have ascended. It was your CHOICE to ascend, noone forced ya to. And going in you knew you would loose your main "stuff" when you ascended yet you did it anyway.

As for decention... well the purpose of ascending was to get bonuses to your main account, so basically if you were "decended" you sould loose your bonuses also.
