It is too bad though that few view it as a good update.

i just can't believe that people would not have at least two minutes everyday to log into ascended and spend there DMU. if you ascend you knew there would be a danger and if i remember right it told you as much on your 1st ascension. i also believe that if you go on vacation mode in main it puts you on vac mode in ascension. but people who say it weakend main that is not true you lose a "bonus" that you choosing not to take because people are too "busy." also if by some unbelievable reason you have no time to play ascension i believe there is an option to descend to the physical plane. not sure if this was suggested but only way it would be fair to be in vac in ascended but not main would take away all bonuses until you had time to play ascended. then the bonus would not return until you have been off vacation for as many days as you have been on it. this is a game. remember what the purpose of a game is about to play it. not sure if i repeated myself here as it is an old post.

Many of us spend hours playing ascension everyday, and we still will never catch up to DD and those in the former COP alliances that benefitted from being protected and getting a huge lead there.

There is a balance most all of us (not spending cash) need to take to keep both accounts respectable.

Many errored the wrong way and find themselfs weaker in one or the other.

Now though any new players ascending even with 100kUP have no chance catching up in ascended.

Bottom line, Vacation mode should be for people who are going to be away from a computer (for whatever reason) for a period of time. Not because they can't be bothered playing a particular server. So they should both be linked.
