agreed, emotive is a little....sub standard. i like imagine, and counting bodies like sheep to the sound of the war drums, but the rest isnt all that great for me.
mer de noms is pure genius though. pure, unadulterated, genius. 3 libras is one of the few tracks actually capable of emotionally moving me.

I like Tool, they have some really good songs and albums. I really enjoyed AEnima. But they do have some very average stuff as well. Undertow I didn't like, and 10000 days had a number of pour songs, but i guess it had some great songs too. Vicarious is a favorite

Love Tool live. I'm not the biggest fan of their music, though I do enjoy it, but they're incredible live. There are 3 bands I'd ever pay to see live: Tool, Dream Theater, and Lostprophets in that order.
