I mean, as moderators, it is your role to deal with these issues. If you find it particularly horrible, don't be a moderator. It's as simple as that.

But if we can cut the root of that certain hell, why would we leave modship?

Well cut the root and assuage the fears of forum goers and explain why those members were banned? There is no rule against such a signature. For now I won't even bring up the reasons for my banning, as I know that seems to make certain mods and certain admins very touchy.

Hey baz, you know cos we've been so damned nice to these folks recently, and have been pretty lean, I'm of the opinion we start actually being harsh i mean, they're accuseing us of being totalitarian now, well, maybe we should show them how to mod a forum "strictly" , Hell it would sure make our jobs easier, it doesnt say anywhere we have to be nice, theres only so far you can push people until they start pushing back, and trust me, we can push a hell of a lot harder than the people trying to cause trouble

You claim we are heavy handed, I say to you that you are infact the forum bullies, always trying to get your own way, Always trying to take sly jibes at the forum mods and admins, always trying to "get one over" on "authority" when all we want to do is keep the order, But hey, we can do it your way if you want,

Agapooka : How about we cook up a script for the forum which means noone can post without said post being looked over by a moderater, we can then censor out anything "amuseing" "disrespectful" or in any way "human" because after all, we are pretty horrible. And how about we make it so we dont have to announce or tell people they've been banned too, because after all , that is a mere curtesy, and we dont have to do that do we , Anyone else got any good ideas, perhaps we should have forum force a tribute from all your ingame accounts to our accounts as well, And if anyone dissagrees we shall simply silence them by deleteing all form of there existance from the server. Yes, that sounds like a great plan.

Bazsy, no it didn't. It simply requested that my banishment be lifted. Never claimed anything about the reasons for the ban. Also buck, if you want you can code said script. I mean if you want to read through hundreds of messages every day you can.

Oh no no no, you misunderstand, we wouldnt read all the messeges, just ones of "priviliged" forum members, ya know the ones on our msn list? And the ones that dont cause trouble, everyone else, well...im sure we'd get around to one or 2 of there posts....eventually....

Yes but knowing that the forum admin knows how long a banishment have to take, it did question his decisions. Also looks like we have to highlight that this is not a democracy. If you start paying tax, it could be;)

@buck: PHPBB3 have that script by default, so after that will be implemented we can start being harsh;)
