I know where your coming from Lore, I like helping the small guys too, but I have stopped doing that as well I get little or no thanks for it..

Suggestion here, but maybe there should be yet another adition to the admins new server, like one for people who have passed the 50 mil cap, and then the 75 mil cap and then the 100 mil cap, while on main they will suffer the consequences of having the caps.. So if a guy with 100 mil army goes to the 100 mil army quadrant of the game they can grow to as high as they like, however if they return to main they will lose everything extra they have till they return to the 100 mil cap.

This would help the smaller players grow, and keep the larger players interested..

Just an idea, spinning it out there

I think the trade cap should be lifted up to 75mil or 100mil.

Why? Buying UU off the black market is more expensive than raiding, so it is not so "unfair" to the newer players as raiding is, and yet it has a lower cap attached to it. In addition to this, trade benefits the smaller players as it is often off them that the UU is being bought.

Raiding cap should be kept where it is.

i know wat you mean lore and before the war i thought the cap shud be raised as it was unfair on the bigger player
however now that the war is over and a lot of them arent on 100 mil yet i think we could wait a bit for the raise in the size caps but if it gets back to wat it was before the war then i say raise it as its only fair to them

I was refereing to those (And yes I have seen this in the market) who complain about the Big Guys massive armies, but sell their UU for $$. They are not trying to grow but yep they want us held down to their level and thats my problem.

No one likes them.

At your growth rate Lore it shouldn't be too long, very impressive is the account. Legoless set up a nice system with those planets.

The bottlenecks need to be raised. I just do not know when. There will hopefully always be new smaller players, so do they remain for them? Or should they be changed when X number of players reach a point?

Would be nice to see more players push pass the 100M again fighting the plague, I think that is an awsome goal. There really is less challenge for someone at that point reaching the new bottleneck.

Thanks Thufir_Hawat, Lego did a wonderful job on this account. I just wish r/l would cut me some slack so I could use it properly.

Thanks for all the responses, they have been good ones. Maybe Admin will concider if it is time to raise the caps or not.

well i have 3 mil army size at my up alone frows a mil every 20 days or so and i do 1 heck of a lot of raiding so i can tell u guys who are small every one was they pushed through it the first mil is always the hardest you dont have a descent def covert income or any thing but once through that if u have a decnt co u make 10 mil a turn with that do what u want but i dont se why i am holdiing players who have been playing from the start back why are we punishing people for playing well even in life those who work hard are rewarded so y is that not hapening here but if these caps aint raised any one at 100 miml could always send there spare uu to me :p

Because of these caps, the game as become boring for me...i enjoyed raiding, and being able to get uu back from what I lost from farming...

I no 2 others think the same, maybe even more of you...

so admin should do this for the best, to keep more players more active and not sitting there to wait for income. :D

I think this is an important debate and thank Lore for raising the subject.
I believe its like most things, the cap should be raised slowly, the only question is when.

If you enjoyed raiding so much, why did you raided the last 43 mill so fast?:D Also the cap was there so you should have know that it will be boring:)
So its your problem until I reach the cap:D

leave it in place for a few more months. maybe doubling the caps on 1st of jan 2008. this should give every players -that puts much effort into his account- enough time to get up to 75mil easily

I'll second Ston's idea, it's decent and balanced... indeed, it will allow every *currently active* player a chance to build up to size... as for the influx of new players, there are a few good suggestions in the Suggestions area, concerning them. :)

I could accept that, It just doesn't need to be much further away then that as there are several on the first 2 pages at 80 mill plus. Jan 1 of 08 there will be many 100 mill accounts with nowhere to go.

I have raised this b4 & i what I suggested is that a panel of people is set up (chosen by SGW players), who you have to request to, to be able to sell stuff for $$.

you could have your main sellers,

then you could have your one off's

but it would be monitored to a certain extent (this would have stopped the last abuse) IMO

It's not perfect but I think its better than what we have & would stop alot of what you have said about or cut it down.
