Here you go KJ, not sure if it would be less than $10.5k though. It's a Scion tC.

You sure you didn't just smack the guy over the head, take the keys - leave the 10K as a downpayment and run?

Honours and Awards

The subaru mentioned in the initial post sounds appealing but personally I avoid FWD cars like that honda vtech thing.

for those who dont know, rear drives can go deeper into the corner hard on the brakes, (ie braking later) sometimes right until the apex (thankyou better weight distribution!). fwd cars cant do that as easy. this just suits my driving style.

also, think maintainance aswell. its generally easier to access parts on a traditionally mounted engine than it is to reach parts on a transverse mounted engine.

I have never understood why the consumer has allowed FWD to become standard... To be sure, i've signed no petitions, made no loud complaints but still - If you've got the budget, options, and desire for performance try and get an RWD car.

I didn't read your whole spec :P

Toyota Celica. It comes in a 190 bhp version. I have the 140 bhp one and it is class. They are fast, look good and since they are Toyota they run forever.

I have allways liked the Celica, anyway I would pick a VW camper van, or a VW Beatle [ old one or new, My Mum has the new one and it aint that bad, but I do still prefer the old ] Old Mini [ a classic ]

Price?

Please note that the price on cars in Iceland is ridicilous. Im now visiting the US and here it is much cheaper - and dont tell me to buy them in the states then coz when shipping I have to pay a toll, which is half the price of the car lmao.

To buy it new in Ireland is about €40,000 but it is cheaper in England. I am currently selling mine to get a newer one. 2001 costs about €14,000 and it is money well spent.

Nice, well I prefer bigger cars thoug, with 4 dors etc. And I would love it if I could get a 4WD coz in Iceland, over the winter it could snow and stuff. So if you have a aft-wheel drive it doesnt get you anywhere, forward drive is better and 4WD is best. So thats why a Subaru Impreza would be awesome but its too expensive. The Honda civic isnt 4WD but it sounds nice, I wouldnt mind a Celica if I could find one in iceland at a good price.
