HEY! lets not forget the good old days when SG1 were flying high, they produced alot of excellent tv for a while there that im sure we all enjoyed... so i for one can forgive them their present day profiteering, the premise has run its course now its just squeezing every last dollar out of it while it can... ah well.

I only started watching them recently, Im on season 3 now. Everything Ive ever heard or new about SG1 was covered in seasons 1 and 2. So I do wonder what else is to come from the remaining 8 Only thing I can think of is I aint seen the replicators yet.

i only watched up to season 6 here on tv but have bought up to season 8 on dvd. i still watch them only because i haven't seen them before. though i find myseklf re-watching more episodes in the first 4 seasons than the rest

seasons 4/5 were the best in my eyes with comedy in most episodes from RDA and with action scfi

Listen to this man, he knoweth what he speaks, 4/5 were the best and of course there are moments in seasons 6&7 but mostly as they ran on they seemed to lose that fun/randomness kind of homer like humour that make them watchable

The shows still good went a little down hill. My only real complaint was how random all the episodes were in season 10. Over half of them didn't focus on the Ori.

i still watch SG-1. it went downhill after RDA left though. season 10 was a bit messed up with all the vacationing and crap. also, the ori are too powerful and have too many things going for them. like adria, she was about to die, and then she ascends. and "unending", the good guys finally get technology that can be used against the ori, but the odyssey is nearly destroyed. the finale sucked too. i still watch SG-1, but prefer to watch the first...7...seasons. and the only reason i watched unending was to see the clip where the song "have you ever seen the rain?" was used. the only reason i watched that episode.

however, i am looking forward to seeing the movies. i hope they go all out on them so that there's a reason i get any other movies (if any more are produced).

Hmm well I have played the game for the majority of the time its been around I have to say I have watched maybe 2 episodes in my life and can only even remember one. LOL Actually I was watching it on one of those fuzzy stations that part of the character is on the left and the rest is on the right. Makes for some interesting t.v.

I've enjoyed the Show from the very start till today, and will continue to watch it when it returns in a month or so... well SGA. I hear the SG1 movies aren't coming out till next year now.

I've been thinking SGA has been getting better and better as the seasons go on, but as a few other have said i also do not like Ronan much, wheres that character going. I thought they could have used Ford a bit more as well, but i suppose he's dead now. Weir makes me cringe when ever she's on screen, i'm hoping she plays a lesser role in the 4th series, and should do with Cater joining the cast. I have wondered why Jackson didn't join SGA, weather unless the produces/writers of the show have bigger plans for his character.... that or Shanks has just had enough.

SG1 hasn't been the same since RDA left, and you could say that the acting skills of Both Ben Browder(Mitchell) and Claudia Black(Vala) didn't help getting the show an 11th season. I'm really looking forward to a RDA return in the future, i know it's happening.

Season eight did have some incredibly poor episodes, but ended at least at a point that would have been a satisfatory conclusion for the series.

But season nine, hardly a good episode among them!!!! You remember the episode where Ben Bowder (is that his name??) was surrounded by gun weilding guys, and next we cut to him running through a forest. I had to listen to the audio commentary to be sure my DVD player hadn't skipped a scene.

Lots of episodes set up fairly good situations that were resolved far to easily in the last ten minutes, and they didn't have a good story arc. One episode would feature Baal, the next few the Ori, back to Baal, and on and on, next really presenting the Ori as a credible foe. They always seemed to be easily beaten.

Season 10 - haven't seen it and will wait to see it in the bargain bin before I get it to complete my collection.

season 10 finished poorly but it did leave it open to more episodes and season which i hope they do even tho sga is good id still like to see some more sg1

you know when is the next season coming out i mean we seem to be hearing a lot of the negative sides here, i also heard that they aren't going to continue stargate anymore but that could have been a rumor just wondering if any body knew.

SG-1 was canceled, there however is still Atlantis and two movies coming out. And I heard some rumor about another series, I don't know about that part though.
