GE Treaty, A Mutual Defense Agreement

Right then, so the most obvious alliance opposing you would be TA (in old roleplaying style)

I have been in the TA since last July or June, and have been a Goa’uld or System Lord since the day I joined

we only wish to destroy those who would attack us without provocation, those that dont are ok by us, the SL war was nothing more than a front, we where barely alive at the time because of the Great war, OSL didn't conquer us, we joined them and their cause, we dont fight against our own race, that stupid little war was for RPing only, its true we do want to unite all goa'uld but under their terms not ours, we would never actually declare war on our own race, its just not what we are about, we will not be going against the Tauri and asgard, simple, no matter what we may of said, what you may assume about us, its very simple, we dont want to, so it wont happen

Well, since OSL has a mutual defense pact with Omega, Alpha, PI, ect, does that mean that they get involved aswell?

nope. only the GE would respond to NAOS aid. even then they would only help if NAOS asked for help.

nope. only the GE would respond to NAOS aid. even then they would only help if NAOS asked for help.

yes and lets face it NAOS can handle their own ... just to keep it to the point.. if GE member alliance is attacked .. they are now in a war and need help they and request for aid from any ge alliance members...

we will not use GE as a tool for war.

indeed. yet even the GE alone could put a dent in a few players and alliance not saying we will tho. the GE was formed a a defensive pact of sorts, as it so said. if one alliance gets hit and is in need of sore help, the GE will assist. as for a FMA, that would only happen in dire cases im guessing. and no we arnt. NAOS United for one faught the CoP and wat they stood for. so i dont think theregunna become a new CoP anytime soon

im not undermining u guys, i know u could do a dent in everyone u wanted, its just a matter of choosing the right strategy, but ge only and ge with oe is a lot different

what i was comparing with the ga, was not the strength and power, was the fact that they were a mutual defense pact also, not a fma, its an insurance policy, and ppl dont like that, (remember why the cia was created ) so what im asking and still keep asking is if this ge is attacked, and with it osl, will the new omega empire join in to help?

and the other way around, if the omega empire is attacked, and with it osl, will the rest of the ge jump in to help??

hmm if they asked, and i seriously doubt they would, what would you do?
i guess its really up to each alliance whether they help the Omegan Empire or not, and then it would depend on the war itself, why it was started, who it was started by etc..... we would really have to be in that position to know for sure, but with any war there is the chance someone not really expected would join in, secret allies, players who are board out of their minds and just want to fight.... its the same with this i guess, there is always the chance, but its only a small one.

Well if the GE was attacked, we would not expect support from Omega. Likewise if Omega was attacked, the GE would not be obligated to help Omega, since the GE has no formal relations with them.

OSL is part of the Omegan Empire and would support Omega/Alpha/Pi and would also support our allies in the Dark Domimium Empire.

OSL is also part of the Goa'uld Empire and would suppot our allies in it.

These are seperate entities with completely different goals. The GE's goal is to better itself and help it's member alliances grow peacefully, hence why it is only a Mutual Defense Pact.
