Yeah I saw it a couple of days after it came out and it was Fantastic. Megan Fox was beautiful to look at. I thought the fight scene in the end was the best. Although it would of been nice to Optimus merge with the All Spark. Think of the power he would have. Can't wait for the Sequel and to see more Transformers. Their is talk of it being a Prequel. Please I would rather see the Autobots fight Unicron.

But if OP joined with the All Spark, the energy would have destroyed him, like what it did to Megatron.

If so I hope he will bring some more Decepticons with him or maybe some Predacons. It would be nice to see any Decepticons that combine.

Yeah my only gripe is that it took awhile to get to the fighting. I mean all I really wanted to see was Transformers fighting. But I had to sit through almost the entire movie for that. I hope they get to the action in the sequel a little sooner.

I agree with J on this. It sorta reminded me of Die Hard 4... it seems like the tried to get a younger/preteen-teen audience for it.

I can understand where they are coming from

Animated series

The most famous of all the Autobots' human allies, Spike Witwicky was fourteen years old, aiding his father, Sparkplug, in his work on an offshore oil rig when the Transformers entered his life in 1984. A Decepticon attack on the rig left Spike and Sparkplug in peril where they were rescued by Optimus Prime. Afterward, they offered their friendship and aid to the Autobots, teaching them about the ways of Earth. Spike had a lot to learn about the robots in disguise, however, as one of his first actions saw him unwittingly bring the disguised Soundwave into Autobot Headquarters. He later aided Hound in battle against Rumble. When the Autobots were planning to return to their home planet of Cybertron, he intended to go with them.

but I think if they made it a little more sophisticated, it would have been better.

It was a great movie, but I think it could have been a little better at least.

I hope the Dinobots come.

As for most of the comic movies almost none of them has its first part also the best one. Like Spiderman-actually untill he got bitten by that damn spider...lots of waitin' and sittin' in cinema, lots of crisps and coke :D So until the action really came, some time passed (and i got a lil fater :-D)...but Im quite sure that sequel will be better :D
PS: Although the Dinobots will not be appearing in the live-action film...producer Tom DeSanto has stated that he has an idea of how to include them, as well as the Constructicons, in a possible sequel. <- :-D

Nah, I think he did a good job...but better job was done by the animators in digital studios :-D

I thought it was okay - I don't think I'd bother to see it again, and I'm not about to buy the DVD.

Most of the fight scenes were rushed and blurry, though there were several notable exceptions that were breathtaking.... the actors were meh... the one liners were meh... there wasn't supposed to be a great plot - so meh.

Overall: Meh. :)

Finally:
I did wish they'd pay just a little more homage to the transformers fans... but again... meh.

I look at this as the first step towards a Battletech Feature length, and it shows much potential.

i agree with xeno, fight scenes were rushed and blurry, there were some pretty cool bits but too far and in between. the transformers themselves were bloody stupid, optimus prime spouting one ridiculous line after another and that introduction bit was cringingly bad where they were all standing around- thank god jazz died.

megatron introduced too late, starscream reduced to one line (and it wasnt: staaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaarscreaaam!)

in fairness it was funny in parts, most notably bernie mac and the line about his grandmother, that was funny.

best thing about the film by a country mile- megan fox.

but then i was quite drunk at the time...
