Agreed, but sadly around here, when people cant be bothered to raid/ build an UP they cry about it on the forums until admin comes along and screws the big guys over so the guys who dont want to do anything still dont have to do anything.

This cap term people keep throwing around is very misleading. It's not actually a 'cap' as much as a threshold.

Cap would imply that once you hit that magic number you can't grow period, like how comcast caps it's bandwidth on users. Go over it twice and they cut you off.

Threshold is better because it means at a certain point, you're passing into another 'place' or something.

Which cap is is update referring to anyways, the plague cap? raiding? brokering?

I assume it's the 100mill 'cap'.. top 10 percent wouldn't work, I know that if that happened the 100 mill mark will drop drastically to maybe about 70 mil. Top 2.5 to 5 percent would be better, depending on all the large army size people getting back there 'true' rank and not hiding down below with the 6k ranked people.

I believe it refers to all 3 actually, in proportion.

And I prefer to call it a 'soft-cap'.

How about something a bit different. For example people that are "over" the caps now, would be pissed if cap was simply raised so other could buy/raid to this ammount they had to UP them selves...

So how about, for those that are already in the CAP, to be raised, and for those, under to kept the same?

Those over would not have to fear that those under could just raid to their size, and those over could still buy or raid more.

For example, person A has 30 mill army, and person B has 80 mill army.
Person A can only buy up to 50 mill, and raid up to 75 mill.
Person B can buy up to 100 and raid up to 150.

Just a suggestion and random numbers, my point was to make those under go trough atleast some trouble "big guys" had to go, and for big guys to have a chance to advance with buying/raiding not only UP...

So what ya think? 8)

ummm, wouldnt person A once raiding to 75mil turn into person B and therefore able to raid to 150. So therefore both can raid to 150 lol

75 - 100 only buying (raiding button shut down lol).
100-125 only raiding... and so on?

I know my suggestion was not so bright but is there really NOTHING that can be done? :o

The point is, when this update comes out and say the raiding limit is raised to 90million
Guy A who has 89million and is almost at the limit and has been working on getting there for 1.5-2 months
Guy B comes along with 75million army and didn't bother to grow and keeps his army low and is then suddenly able to raid up to 90million in a short space of time has now caught up with guy A who has worked hard on UP

Same with the 50million 75million 100million 'caps'

so only being able to grow by buying from 75-100million would be very easy and require no work.

i'm hoping this cap only affects the 100mil cap as those that have wokred hard to get past the other caps shouldn't be caught up so easily

(your example) --then in a week, its raised to 91million, in 2 weeks, to 92million, etc -- a DYNAMIC cap.

how quick its raised. how much its raised. not sure. thats why its not out yet :)
give it a few weeks, but its 'on the books'....

point is: this is the LAST cap update i will do on this front since it is DYANAMIC and will self adjust after i make it dynamic :)

(and its not a cap, its a threshold where things change after you pass it ... NOT a hard limit...thanks SG)

that really does not do any think

cause people would still get a friend who under 50M to buy 25M then raid him then buy again and so on

untill admin come down on people abusing raiding a friend that not even a cap
