Well, I don't farm or raid anyone right now so I never lose units. However, if I needed to mass someone, I'd hit raid rather than attack to preserve the anti-covert since raid doesn't bring anti-covert into the battle.

After next ascension, I'll send away my UU as usual but I won't put it back into mining. Instead, I'll put a significant amount into strike. I figure I can make way more income with 10 million supers than I can with 10 million miners.

Well it must be ur own fault , I mean come one those miners didn't change to lifers themselfs ...

Im 100% sure those things will never end up in my acc cus once my UU is trained into Miners they will stay their never to be untrained again not even during wars ...

I life of my UP I look what I can do what I get ... simple as that it's like u have 20$ in ur pockets and the food costs 15$ would u go to the bank for an extra 50$ to give away more money than it's needed ?

nope u won't well not the smart people

Hen or Hensenshi like always. :P

EDIT: Noticed someone is named Darth Revan ingame, so I'm not allowed to use the name. :( Changed back now.

Well, I knew it was you, but Darth Revan is such a sick character.

And in regards to Privium, your analogy is weak. Let me modify it for you.

Everytime you open an account in a new bank, they take 10%. Everytime you ascend, you need to transfer your account to a new bank. To ascend to LG+1, it takes 6 ascensions and thus leaves 90%^6 = 53% of your actual account.

Thus, after ascending, you are left with $26 that you can withdraw and $24 that you cannot use. If food goes up to $20, you withdraw $5 and when you put it back, more of it becomes untouchable.

Sick as in good or bad? Mind you the first time around playing KOTOR I had a female character and played the dark side, so my personal envision experience of Revan is female and the true Dark Lord of the Sith.

My current addiction falls to Knights of the Old Republic. :-D Just wanted a bit of theme to my sig and avie too.

kinnell6 wrote:Alas, I have been hit with the curse of lifers. Lifers are the only friends that stay with you when you ascend, but other than that, they are useless.

With 40 million lifers, I can guarantee an amazing income for my realm, however, in time of war, when I need 15 million assassins to make sure a certain target will never ascend again, it becomes very hard to procure due to army size limitations.

The unfortunate thing is that most people do not foresee the curse until it is too late and it is very much inevitable unless you refuse to participate in wars (leave your ingame id here, we can change that) or refuse to ascend.

Who here has been hit with this curse? I am sure I am at the top of the list of highest number of lifers due to multiple ascensions and certain decisions I made earlier in the game. The curse makes the game very strategic, however, I am screwed. :-D (I have a nasty case of bloodlust)

I dont see this as a problem at all. if your screen name is the same as your ingame name, then you are at 46 mil total army. Do 2 PPTs every week(to get naq & make your bank bigger),farm on other days, then raise your AC to lvl 32 or higher, & boost your UP to 300k to 400k total.
your problem is solved right there. If you get involved in a war & loose alont of units, it may take you a week to rebuild. Raid alot. If you buy UU alot, hover just under the 50 mil mark. buy UU at low prices & sell at high prices & put the naq you get into AC & UP.

Rigth now i am at 25 mil lifers with 6 ascensions. if i do anything i NEVER
untrain my miners. i wait for my UU to come to me daily from my UP. Since i started this game(september 2005), i untrained all my miners 7 times total. 6 times for 6 ascensions & 7th time for when i went on vacation for 3 weeks & let myself become raid/farm target for my alliance.

If you already have a lot of lifers, You already have this issue, and your solution doesn't help. In times of war, if you need an AC, "you don't say sorry guys I need to wait on my UP" Instead, you say, "right, give me a minute I'll train 5mill AC units up".

Does my character look male to you? I'm quite sure she's female, with boobs and a skinny waste. Doesn't the body frame tell it all? :P

Well when you take off all of her armor, she has a red and black jumpsuit on, I've come to believe that there is no tackle below.

But anyway, back on topic, as unfortunately my KOTOR character is not a lifer.

Not sure I want to know but I'll ask anyway, why were you undressing your KOTOR character?
Mine was a light side bloke with two sabers.

Lifers are fine you just need to share the responsibility of ACing with your alliance mates, or just not untrain your covert when you ppt.

I was changing from armor to robes and accidentally closed the pause menu.

Or just be the masser and not the ACer.

Ok, I'm really wondering why people are annoyed with lifers.
Personally i don't see a reason why you should have many of them
ATM i only have 14% of my miners in lifers.
And it does save you alot of uu's to train them only in packs of 10
so if you have 1232uu's you only train 1230 into miners

And if someone is the ac'er during a war then he only needs to switch between assasin and attack soldiers. If someone wants the extra income then that someone shouldn't complain about the side effects
