I'm not too bothered about farmers. If I have the naq out, and you can take it, then it's fair game. I won't go crazy and start threatening your pets over stolen naq.

It's been aaaaages since I was farmed. It's never been a huge problem for me, thankfully. Nowadays I guess I'd try and outbuild whoever was hitting me, or steal the naq back from them at my own convenience.

if someone hit me for 20bil, meh i'd be annoyed, but it's a war game. if i look into alliance attack log annd see they also attacked some others, then i would come for you. so no i wouldnt hit them all.

funnily enough my defense is as high as it is cos of one TL member who kept on farming me, so i more than tripled my defense to beat his attack, now after i had to do that it gets me fairly angree when i see noobs hiding behind their alliance

for gods sake people you guys are the best alliances in the game
start acting like it and build a defense which is a necessary part of the game

does anyone else agree with me, well i have already seen some support

well the members i where on about that had too much resources out were also DD, but hey the top 3 members on ascended are DD so the rest of the others dont need a defence so why bother? (obvisoulsy some DD people do have a reasonable defence to hold their DMU but most dont)

my mate is like 2mil army size on ascension with 125bil strike and 100bil defence these guys are like 20times his size and have 25bil defence and they cry if he hits them and mass him/ decend him

although some are nice about and just say ahh thanks reminded me to build a defence. So he then leaves them ones alone

Naq can be protected with more than just defense. Dirty Dozen/The Legion/Omega can probably get away with keeping out more than the "universally acceptable" amount because they are the largest and strongest alliances in the game.

It really comes down to a choice: When you click the attack button to farm someone, you have to decide if the naq you'll take from them is worth the reaction you might get. If so, farm away. If not or you have concerns about your own potential losses, then their defense to income ratio is irrelevant and you should probably move along.

You might see 100 bill out but you have to think ''are those 100 bil worth loosing my defence and mothership because of? And possibly being farmed for ages?''

Personally I'am sick and tired of all this "Omg you hit me once for naq I'm gonna sit on you forever now and mass you"

It's just lame.

especially since there are only a dozen guys that i wud consider better than me in some of these alliances
and in a 1 on 1 i know i cud beat them
plus i am very annoyed wen i had to spend trillions and i think now that i have the big strike i shud be able to make my trillions back

Yeah but they would all go "My alliance will mass you for hitting me once it's our policy" bla bla bla

instead of spending trillions you could of just toke the easy route and joined DD or smth.

only sed DD since that is who we are on about.

i like to think if i'm farmed, it is my fault. thats why on ascension i have my def stats in the top 50. even though i'm ranked in the top 100 instead.

now, on main, i should probably double my def >_>

the other thing is, some alliance policies are for representation, if the image of "oh i can attack this guy without reprisals, maybe i can hit others too..." will weaken a top alliance's position as a powerhouse... what good is power if you don't use it? and who is best to use it on? some random person? or someone who attacks your alliance first? with this stance though, it's wise to take a critical eye to someone abusing the alliance's "no farming our members" policy and discuss actual defense numbers they should have.

I'm fairly sure your ascended account wouldn't be where it is today, Couzens, had you not benefitted from the same DD 'protection' you're bemoaning...

quite some in omega including your leader wouldnt be there also mordack...


But that is why alliance are for: To be protected to have fun to be able to eventually partially dominate...

my ascended account wouldnt be where it is today without the advice the DD members gave me either so i am grateful, but when i got farmed up there i didnt complain just toke it and built up a bigger defence.
