Anyone heard when gears of war 2 is due (rough estimate of completion?)

Was it just me or did the human weapons appear to be a lot weaker in Halo 2?

I loved using the battle rifle, but it always seemed like everytime you got the personal shields down... you needed to reload.

I searched for Halo 1 and Halo 2 but they're hard to find here in Ireland

I'll be jumping into Halo 3 with no idea of any story-lines

I also do not have Live but I will once I get broadband.
I'll also be on PSN (PS3) when I get broadband

yea they were crap.

i hope they learn from their mistakes in halo 2 and give us what we want in halo 3. i think its awesome that they are bringing in ATV's

yea but when halo was first released it was still like the best game around

good if someone could post briefly what happens in halo uprising so we know whats happening when halo 3 comes next week as i haven't read any of them

lol make sure you tell me what happens then as it comes out next week i think

Love it so far. There are now more varieties of brutes in campaign mode. One of which seems nearly invincible and weilds a huge hammer, which is used as a melee weapon.

Other notable changes...
1.) Almost all the weapons have a new look to them.
2.) Bug guns can no longer be held as dual-weapons
3.) New grenade type
4.) New vehicles
5.) New weapons
6.) I glanced at some multiplayer maps and they look like Halo 2 maps, but revamped and cleaned up to look better.
7.) New map editor allows you to add or remove certain items from the maps to customize them to your likings.
8.) Default controls are slightly different on the 360 controller than Halo 2.

That's just a few of the things that I've noticed while playing for a little bit.
