Woops forgot to mention I was generalizing quite a bit as I was in a rush.
Just tried mentioning a few things that were in my head

The mods created this section to IGNORE it.
I doubt they will even bother to read. We are all just trolls anyway remember.

It doesn't really bother me what they read to be honest. As far as I can tell they are just players/ex-players who have the responsibility to enforce forum rules. I don't see why everyone can't just concentrate on having fun instead of all this backstabbing, politics rubbish that seems to surround this game. If you got a problem with a mod, speak to em on msn and get it sorted directly.

They don't get the 4th MT anymore now that ppl have revolted against it.

I have no idea what anyones problems with the mods are so I am not going to bother contradicting you there. I suppose the game admin saw giving them an extra MT as a reward for service. It all depends on what perspective we look at it. They would say they deserve it for giving up their time. Some of us will think that it is unfair. Perhaps you should bring something up in game suggestions about gaining an extra MT for donators...im not really fussy though...they can trade more resources..big deal
Edit: Apparently they don't get it anymore so ignore what I wrote

the Mods NEVER got a 4th MT... it was cancelled before being implemented...
also, try reading these posts by Forum himself: (especially the red part)
Forum wrote:ok - i am not even going to read this - i was informed of the basic issue, or the spark that started it, and will address that only and give my opinion on that matter.
facts that lead to this, from what i understand:
*mods were to get a custom title and 1 extra market turn, as a 'thanks' for donating their time to the community.
*no mod, nor anybody, has yet received an extra market turn.
*this whole concept of doing something for the mods was my idea, with the simple goal of letting them know that the community (in particular me) appreciates what they do. It is nice to have something that says 'thanks' even if the value is not high...an extra MT would be a weekly reminder...
anyway -thats the logic behind the idea.
decision:
*The mods will not get an extra market turn.
In all honesty, this is the easiest solution since they did not push for it, did not really care if they got it or not, and obviously it is more trouble than its worth...so it goes.
Although (i hope) they can still at least appreciate the gesture since they will not be able to appreciate the actual turn...
*No mods are being replaced by public vote. Pookie is the lead mod, mod admin, or call it what you will. Complaints about mods can be PM'd to him. He will be able to use all the PMs, his own judgement, and make a decision. That is what he is there for, amongst other things.
*If you want to volunteer to be a mod, PM pookie (agapooka) the mod leader....
my thoughts:
for people that put a lot of effort into the community (not that many more do not, in other ways - but the mods are at least an easily identifiable group that does....), i would think others would not mind if they got a token thanks. An extra market turn is not going to give anyone a winning advantage.
The words of the immortal bob come to mind..
While one who sings with his tongue on fire
Gargles in the rat race choir
Bent out of shape from society's pliers
Cares not to come up any higher
But rather get you down in the hole
That he's in.
But I mean no harm nor put fault
On anyone that lives in a vault
But it's alright, Ma, if I can't please him.
anyway - i am a bit disappointed, but in the end it was a gesture that was the message, and not the message (MT) itself, so it is not a big deal (aside from the ruccus caused) to the mods or myself to not have this ever put in place...
case closed. thread locked.

Forum wrote:lol. this was a great thread.
not for the ordinary reasons, but because it gives a view into 'my life' (yes, via the mods...they share much of the same joys).
1) it's a label.
2) it's a VERY expensive label.
3) "you get out what you put in" -- not true. This is true - modding brings the storms of (player) wrath down upon you, by those you mod, for the benefit of <all but those who you mod, and their friends>, and the thanks by <all but those who you mod, and their friends> is zero. Modding is like taxation - its never appreciated ... (except the occasional drunken post edited...).4) unbenounst (a word?) to all - i used this ability to tailor labels. i now can easily do custom labels. where will i use them. when will i use them? dont know. but the mod ability allowed it to be easy.
5) my god. think about it. its not unfair. its not crazy. its a way to identify the mods of the community in game (IF they want to be identified -its not a forced ability...one can choose not to use it)... i cannot see how that makes any one else 'less than'.
6) become a mod. if you can demonstrate the skills, keep a good attitude, and help the community - you too can get a title. the community benefits if the right people are helping....as a comparison - the US army pays 20,000USD signing bonus to become a soldier. mods here get a title

i dont think its all that crazy (the title that is).
7) any number of other arguments...
I am also opening this thread again as I have never been so amused, amazed and interested in such opinions.
Mods - please let it go... No need to reply to the criticisms - they are par for the course, and your heartrate is best spent elsewhere

Players - please have respect for the job. It is NOT everyone that can/will/keeps doing it. for a reason. same as soldiers - not so nice to get the occasional smile at the cost of a clip emptied at you...
so - in the words of Ali G - RESPECT!

19:34] <adminHere> i still like the idea of a 'mod feedback' topic/subject to 'dump' the troll type posts regarding mods
[19:34] <Tealauc> well, they still may 'troll' anywhere on forums tho, and i bet they will.
[19:35] <adminHere> get it out of general and high visited areas. if ppl really want to get involved, they can go there
oh and
[19:11] <Zeratul> who is for giving nuto the title "troll"?

No, I stand by what I said.
That is not correct: the mods did not create this section to ignore it, nor have mods avoided reading here.
Game Jason created this section. No one at that meeting has permissions to create a subforum,
expect for Game Jason. Saying that 'mods' created this section to ignore it is incorrect. One account (of 2) that I refer to which is not correct.
Mods have posted here. Admin, Supermods, and section mods have all posted in this section. People can joke about ignoring it (you quote Teal'auc) but if you look thorough these threads you will see that she has not ignored this section. I make no statement about terms used in the mod meeting, but even those who joked about the behaviour of some people still came here to reply to posts. Second account (of 2) that I refer to which is not correct.
Adding this section was to reduce the clutter in the other area of the forum. In the pedantic thread you agree that mods only pick sections of posts they want to reply to. It is clear that you have done the same. Let's paint each other with the same brush.

<adminhere> ok - i really think tihs mod feedback is needed.
any objection if i add it? then you can just move the posts that belong thre, there?
[19:44]
<adminhere> cause that stuff should not clutter the forums.[19:44]
<FreeSpirit> go ahead[19:45] <adminhere> 90% of the people dont care
[19:45] <adminhere> the 10% will keep at it
[19:45] <adminhere> the issue is only as big as you let it get
[19:45]
<FreeSpirit> also maybe make an area[19:45]
<FreeSpirit> talk with the mods[19:45] <adminhere> i think they call it "a pissing fight"

[19:45] <Tealauc> well, if there's mod feedback, they will only moan yet again. It's always like that when you do something 'unpopular' yet it had justified reasons.
[19:45] <adminhere> everyone gets covered in pee, and nobody wins
[19:45]
<adminhere> tealauc - thats fine. just keep it in one area is the goal[19:46] <adminhere> then you can just ignore it

[19:46] <R3B3L> whoa hold on a bit, covered in pee? O.o
[19:46] <R3B3L> lol
[19:46]
<Tealauc> well, my problem is, i still care for this community, so i should not really ignore the users[19:46] <adminhere> its not 'the users' tealauc
[19:46] <adminhere> its the 'trolls' as theyve been called
[19:47] <Tealauc> well, right now, half of the forum are trolls
[19:47] <Eriond^justforFS> ignore the people who deserve ignoring and chat to the others
[19:47] <adminhere> not true
[19:47] <Eriond^justforFS> Tealauc theres only like about 10 or so trolls
[19:47] <adminhere> it just seems like 1/2

[19:47] <FreeSpirit> admin?
[19:47] <Tealauc> i guess many people just jumped the bandwagon
[19:47] <FreeSpirit> what you think of a special are where peoplecan discuss things with mods
[19:47] <FreeSpirit> on a adult base
[19:48] <adminhere> i am fine with it
[19:48]
<FreeSpirit> i am willing to mod that area myself if noone else wnats to
