I first notice the extreme arrogance during the CIA/COP war which has now shown, that any war can last indefinitely so long as one side can always build a strike to take down another sides largest defense.

I have also notice more complaining on the forums, everything from the AT market to Farming policies.

What annoys me is the fact people use war (game) as a reason to farm.
war = farming or farming = war
well, massing = war or war = massing
so logically.... farming = war = massing or farming = massing

yet those same people complain when they get massed over a farm hit. oh and it gets better that they have no problem massing someone who farms them. which gets back to the arrogance.

and people always say, build bigger defense, so a person does only to find out next morning someone massed it for being too big.

Which uses up more AT faster and then people go back complaining about AT.

as for game suggestion, any suggestion is most likely going to benefit bigger players more. Simply because they have more to spend. Well if they didn't spend it on that new suggestion, they would simply spend it somewhere else and get even farther ahead in that stat. Honestly, I don't remember this sort of complaining when Mother Ships came out, which at the time, clearly only benefit big players...still do in that they can build a bigger one, and most big players are done ascending so they don't lose it either. In fact, any stat in game benefits the bigger players more.

and then out of nowhere someone will just start complaining about the mods again and gather a whole band wagon. at least now theres a forum section so I don't have to see it.

Part of goal with the 2yrs ago thread was to show people how good the forums used to be....but that ended up on a topic of game suggestions followed by actual in game events....not sure how that happened....

For me the reason why alot of people are feeling bad about in-game matters is this Cold war that is hanging over the servers.

And, I think the reason why alot of people are feeling bad about the forums is ......

I think what you meant to say is point 'in' case.

And yes, I should think it's blithely obvious to even the simplest of observers that Omega, and only Omega, are responsible for all of the problems the game is having at the moment. Nevermind the obvious in-game inbalances or the widely publicised problems on the forums, it's all Omega's fault. Buck in particular.

Isnt it about time we had some new baddies to blame everything on, personally Im voting for TL .

Seriously though the reason the forums have gone downhill is for no end of reasons, people cant have time to keep up with a massive forum that sprouts no end of flame wars all the time. I think the COP/CIA war may have been a turning point just in that before hat you had a few people who were arrogant, after you had loads of people who had become arrogant because they thought it was their right to be that way due to how they viewed the end of the war.

It doesnt matter what i mean to say, people get the message anyway.

And of course its not all omega, im just noticing a trend... i didnt say that all omega was bad, i said that the only 2 omega posts so far where arrogant *** type posts.

But of course, you have to take my post and expand its meaning, and apply it out of context for the whole forum in a way that it wasnt intended. That makes perfect sense.

I think the reason everythings changed is cus theres a whole lotta new ppl, the game grew, some old ppl changed, and most left, it used to be a small community that was all nice and respectful towards each other, when the game grew it all started changing. and when the newer ppl came it seems most of the vets left, ive played this game since october 05, so id say im one of the older players, nvr got to be extremely big, infact im quite small, lol, but i used to post much much more, infact i was almost at 1k posts (most got deleted since they were in the black market) but now theres so much crap going on in the forums, and ppl are disrespecting mods and such its just not a place where i wanna be very involved, sure mods do some things they shouldnt sometimes but hey, they are all mostly players just like you.


bassically, when the game was still small, ppl were nicer, then a new genaration of new players came, old ones left, they werent like the old ones.
