The prob is that even uber noobs get a big advantage, which is...unfair considering their caring into the ascended server...there should have been something like more benefits to those who played it actively, or at least logged in once/twice a day to spend dmu...that's my opinion!
Not big gap between two categories, but sufficient one..

U.p of lowbies and highbies alike has been increase 10, 100, 500 times the u.p they had before, depending on how sucky they were before the update, did it help any of the top 5, no, i think it actually halfed all there u.ps
The growths are all much closer a few beefy ascensions can push your power up levels to the heights of the top 10 easily enough. Then you can suffer all the limits the top 5 have to, YAY for you.
Fact is, game is even-ing up, big players have to be given a chance to keep there position, there chance seeming as ascension dosnt do much for them, is to farm the new super growth accounts server wide to boost there stunted growth to stay ahead. How can they do that with all the attacking restrictions. The dmu from farming will help but no where near what raiding could, which is why rank mods were put in, to stop the gap increasing more via raiding, now no raid, so no rank mods needed.

Actually Unimatrix, I said the "equivalent of 2.5 quadrillion DMU". With the cheapening of the levels and fleets, you all get to pay 2.5 quadrillion DMU less for the same levels that I have now (and worked two years to achieve). And just so you know, that is over half a year's income for me. So please, Jason just handed both servers over to you; I am just asking for one little measly update that actually will make the server TRULY balanced again. Because the pendulum has been pushed so far to the other side as to be ridiculous.

The rank mod is pretty basic. If you are higher rank than someone when you attack them they get a % advantage over you. You don't do as much damage as you would normally, and they do more. It works similar when attacking up. Also their defense compared to your attack makes a difference from what I can tell. I wouldn't mind if rank mods were dropped.
Then there are caps. Such as when people try to descend you they can only take away such a % of your lifeforce max and reserves per hit. (1/3 right now). In my opinion, this must stay.

so rank 1 vs rank 2 there is still a 1/3 screw u over percentage?

I am not rank one so I can't check on that, but the rank mods depend on what you are doing aswell.
For normal dmu attacks the limit is 60.00% going down, 130.00% up.
Recon is 110.00% up and 90.00% down.
Personal assaulting is 130% up, but the limit goes down is to like 30%, but they are out of range then anyway.
Sabbing is 130% up, 70% down.
Ect.
