perhaps he should keep it and make them have better ascended accounts... or just remove the trading of uu all together.

** the way I see it people are cheating to better their account w/o working for it now, but that's just me. I thought the point of ascending was to leave you weakened and re-working your way back to the top from scratch. Again I'm proved wrong.

Ascention was never like that, people were sending stuff away to ascend pretty much as soon as ascention came out. Dunno where you have been the last 2 years.

wrong argument here bud... it's how people have been ascending, not how they were meant to be ascending, but that's an argument for another day. to the statement that ascending was never like that you are wrong because over a year ago lot of people ascended properly, and your alliance actually had to rebuild you b/c it took so much out of your main account that you were totally weakened.

not if you sent your UU away and sold your weapons and sent the naq away. But whatever, point is, admin knows about the bug, and is allowing it for now. Thats how ETL and others are Elder ancients and still have all thier UU. I dont even know why theres an argument in the first place.

Right, and so what about the quote where admin says it should be taking years to get back to ascending again ("Id be spurprised to see anyone ascend again this year"), now if we take ascending as rebuilt... well. There you go.

for the same reason we have all arguments... people abuse a bug, someone points it out, others rush to say "admin is allowing it b/c he can't figure out how to stop it" and then we just sit here poking at eachother... it is rather pointless.

I'd be nice if admin actually just taught them all a lesson and reset their account for abusing the bugs in the first place, but he's too lazy to do that... sorry jason, you are (by your own admission). So I guess we have 2 options -- carry on complaining about it until something is actually done, by where only the rest of the community will end up being handicapped in the future, or quit the game.

Quite frankly all this crap has me closer to quitting, perhaps one of these days I'll actually do it and stay away.

You're quite right. It was supposed to be difficult to re-ascend, and ascending in itself should have never worked out the way it did (being able to send things off and such).

Imagine if every time someone ascended they were forced to wipe their account clean and start again? The game would be in a much better place, and the only ones on top of the ranks would be those who actually worked on their accounts and deserved to be. There would be less people hoarding the power and the game would actually depend of strategy and not "who can accept my broker and then send my junk back to me".

And they are wondering why there are so many cheats... Some see no other way to catch up to those who tower over the game. Not saying that cheating is "ok" by any far stretch of the imagination, but still. This is the reason why.

Having said that, as EtL has made himself the poster boy for 'Anti-Cheat and bug exploiters', it seems like the shoe is on the other foot.

And as others have said in this thread, this was a well known bug, so there is really no excuse for taking advantage.

Who knows, maybe he does have over 100mil lifers...

its human nature ppl get creative ppl find ways

admin knows bout it....and in my opinion it's not bug..it's just a little trick...why would it be a bug? because some didn't know about it?


u take this away,u f*** bigger players....let them breathe god damn it....at least something that helps em...and for now the only way that hose above 75m can ascend and don't loose the uu that they have over 75m....

That was my main point... big bad ETL who always went after the cheats, big bad ETL who hated cheats, and so on...

Apparently, not playing the game anymore erases one's memories of the past, and disables your ability to have an opinion, or post upon those opinions which may or may not be game related.
