Hmm, isn't the Mothership jsut a beta trial at the moment? Therefore it shouldn't count towards ascension. Besides I like the fact that it doesn't - as it would make it easier to get ascension points - and also like the fact that having a mothership now means it is harder to maintain your rank (through having to juggle another stat) therefore ahrder to enter and maintain a position in the top 100.

I've said it all along - Ascension should only be for those players who have really worked hard to achieve it - and should not be easy.

I don't think they should count for ascension points, nor should people keep them after ascending.

Motherships, as things stand, will slow people down from reascending, which I think is a good thing.

I am getting ready to ascend, and since I have > 1000 G&R points, I can tell you that the MS currently does not give any ascension power points.

i like the fact that it doesnt count to ascenion, and you cant sell it. it makes it so much harder for people to reascend so fast, which is why all of you ascended people are complaining.

hey coz MS are only a beta test at the moment, if they decide to abandon the idea, do all those who have MSs get the money refunded (along with the money for all the weapons)? If so, then it needs to be refunded at the user's discresion: if the user is not online at the time the mothership is refunded, a player could potentially lose billions of naquadah!

If it needs to be automated, perhaps pay the player in troops (replacing naq with troops, I think there was a exchange rate thread in the trading section but I cannot find it anymore...). This could be quite handy (as the player's naquadah wouldn't be stolen and the administrators can abolish Motherships in one go.

If (and I mean IF), motherships are removed then those who have spent money on the should get it back and will more than likely get PPT so that they don't immediately get attacked for it. Just don't wait until after PPT ends before spending it or I will get double my MS cost back.

As someone who will soon ascend...
I feel that those who have been playing since the beginning of the game are already on what their 4th ascention so the fact of slowing people down isn't really doing all that much...
When I got my mothership initially I jumped from like rank 600 to rank 20... just for having a mothership... things didn't really pan out all that well...

If someone is going to drop 2-8 bil like I am sure some of you have their should be something in it for everyone when they ascend.... whether they have the option to have at least some extra Ascention points or a boost in UU or hell anything... it would help those that don't have 800k-1mil UU who are re ascending multiple times already...

and it is my honest opinion that those people who are ascending mutilpe times already will rule the ascended server... but that is just my opinion

motherships do count toward ascension points... you get the euivalent of the naq that you spent on the MS.

Reascendiing is... well, once people ascend, they then have their shell account (main server) which is reset to just how it was in the beginning.
