Turns out that i should be in BC for a few days, for work. In april, end ( i think) dates still be confirmed

Hmm... I live in CA, southern CA at that. But if theres enough of a notice I can get away from work for a weekend... Is Vancouver a decent place to meet up?

Do note, as of January 1st, to go from USA to Canada and back requires a passport. And warning, it takes about 12 weeks to get a passport if you are just ordering one...

Not precisely true-you only need a passport if entering/entering from Canada by air. Read

I don't have to worry though-my passport doesn't expire til July 2008... And I had extra pages added two years ago so I still have space for those immigrations stamps

Yeah, and it before that is was earlier this year, etc... O well-one of these days they'll get their act together. In any case-I'm still up for the meeting in Vancouver. Though it would be nice if we could hear from admin whether he thought he could make it...
