OMG this cap is so dam boring, the cap is stupid, this game is getting boring with these dam caps holding the big players back, its time to raise the cap so we can have fun again

bigger players can afford more UP. and obviously its not impossible to overcome the caps...many have proven that. so dont see a need for the raising of them.

Have you even been thinking about what the update does and in what ways it affects the big players and in what ways it affects the small players?

The caps were first put in place about 2 years ago and there were players already at 100 mill back then, so they have been losing millions and millions of UU to the plague JUST SO THE SMALL ONES COULD CATCH UP!

Look at the server now. The small ones DID catch up and there are many many accounts over 100 mill.

Now the caps have been raised and everyone below the cap or who has just reached the cap is benefiting from it because they can keep growing while the ones who have already been at 100 mill 2 years ago and have been losing millions and millions of UU to the plague will get screwed even worse when the plague kicks in at 200 mill.

This update is for the small players to catch up! It's just another one of these updates that screws the players who have actually been working on their accounts. The big ones should be complaining, not the small ones.

Raiding and inflated amounts of AT are what have made this game bad - and are also what have been the main cause for all the anger and animosity in the game and the forum.

Raiding requires no skill - especially when all these AT are available, and has made the game boring for those who have a modicum of strategy.

I am not against this update of raising caps I am against though how far the caps were raised. For those that clam that the new caps will allow anyone to become strong that is just not true. Since with the inflation of the cost of AT and the fact that almost everyone can raid means that the amount of uu out will be limited. This will in fact mean that new players will not be able to trade uu for AT at a rate that is beneficial to them.

Big players get the screwed at 200mil so really the only thing this update will do is bring everyone to about the same army size. So in fact the way this update was brought in will only cause conflict in this game of massive proportions when many people reach the new limits.

I would say move the caps up by 25mil and then make them dynamic caps and not have such a crazy death rate at 200mil.

So I will add my name to the list.

Just a side not as well jedi you shouldn't threaten people for voicing their opinions it is their right to do so. Yes you also have the right to mass who ever you please but in my opinion that just isn't a fair thing to do. No offense meant by this by the way just what I think.

People can catch up to big players. I thought the same thing when I joined and I didn't even raid. People who raid can really do it. If yo udon't want to put some work in, don't play this game.

Very true, unlimited ats + raiding = bad... actually just unlimited ats = bad.
People refuse to understand that more ats does not mean more uu. Less ats just means you get more with each hit, a cap of the amount of turns you can use would be a good idea... I think Sleipnir has talked about it elsewhere.

Will also agree with this, when it takes hours and hours to raid for uu its easy to see why people get angry when people attack and destroy their resources.


Overall with the update, I'm against it. It was needed sometime in the future, but updates to help smaller players catch up Significantly should have been introduced at the same time.

If you've been playing for 2 years and are still at ~20mil army surely it must be the big players fault

And yeah, take away raiding to make it even fairer, only you'd start a petition against buying UU 'cause a 40mil player can afford 4 times as much UU as a 10mil player'. Take away that and you'll start a petition against UP, cause a 75mil player has so much more naq to invest into UP than a small player...

How about trying to catch up by growing yourself and not restricting the growth of others? No wait, that would require that you do something other than whining...

how this was done was the worst possible way to increase caps. gradual caps are what people wanted, not an instant doubling of caps for people who've got insane UP's anyway and were doing just fine with the previous caps.

I agree with what you say - anyone can raid if they have to - but the point is that raiding is essentially all the game has become about - and it's boring!

Before raid and massive amounts of AT we had to pick our targets carefully, stockpile AT and ensure we prepared for any retaliation, including if necessary the option of talking ourselves out of a bad situation - and all that before we decided to take action - in other words - there was actually some kind of skill/strategy involved in the game, where you had to consider consequences. The addition of raid, and especially coupled with mass amounts of AT has removed all of that.

A lot of us said a long time ago it wouldn't work - and neither would having a cap, because the cap would have to be increased - funny old thing!
