what's wrong, n00b forum posters boosting the price to extreme levels....

AT's have risen by 15bil in the last 2 weeks and most who are raising them have under 50 posts.....

Why was that rule taken out?

we are all fools....

-Either increase the % of uu's taken when raiding someone
-Either increase at's generation per turn according to army size.
-Either change the rates on ingame market

DO NOT make any bloody cap how much at's can be used per week...COME ON! it's the worse idea...

The raid % being raised would just mean more inbalance ingame

Changing AT generation according to army size is inherently unfair

Changing the rates in the ingame market stops nothing.

Either have a lower cap, stop trading of ATs, OR make a dynamic market that does not generate anything, and relies on what players sell to it. thus when ATs get bought out, the price goes WAY up


why would the generation of at's be unfair? smaller army-more of em generated...bigger army,less generated...the biggest ones would make 3 per turn,smallest ones like 9-12?

would be good....no harm to big ones,as they would still be better...

stop trading for at's=game over..u can shut sgw down then.
market is already dynamic...

was that for me? as i don't whine..i'm ok with the system....but tok'ra want's to limit at's,lower caps etc...tok'ra if u had ur own mmorpg....u would have to shut it down after 5 hours..

This was directed at Tok`ra.

Tok`ra mate , noone is forcing you to play this game if you dont like things the way they are why dont you go play another game if you can find one that suits you , or create your own game the way you want it.

up the % on a raid... why so those who have the time and patience can get further ahead of those who don't? Why should we be limited by our lack of time? It would be an unfair advantage to us.

Increase turn production on smaller accounts - why? so they can turn around and sell them to the bigger accounts, that getter further and further lopsided.

Reseting the price on the market - why? In a week or three it would become lopsided all over again as everyone would be selling MTs, getting others to buy their turns and all that stuff... ALL OVER AGAIN!

Stop flaming. Don't use personal insults against someone who is working towards improvement. If you don't agree with Tok'ras ideas, be polite about it or don't say anything at all. If you see an error in his ideas then explain why its a bad idea, don't tell him to stop whining. I'm sure if you are mature enough to explain why his ideas may not be implemented how he believes it to be, he will agree that the idea is not worth pursuing. Remember this is a public forum of which every person is entitled to their opinion - if you don't like someone else's don't abuse them, it just makes you less respectable and in turn you look like a jackass.

How is this a bad idea? If someone has a LEGITIMATE reason why this is a "stupid idea" than please explain it to me. I do not see how this is
"whining" nor "foolish"

why more turns generated by "small" ones? those who complain complain becuase of the small ones..they hide behind small ones...well thjis way,small ones would get more..if they sell like 1k per week now..they will sell 3-4k per week then...or raid....

I wasn't aware of this... i have never seen the market rates change... do they change?

There seems to be a lot of resources and turns available on the market, are people playing that much? how much is supplemented from "external" sources?

sorry for all the questions, but the market really intrigues me on how it works if it does run on supply/demand principals.

Teal... I can see your point with war, but, the game has become who can spend the longest time raiding wins. People really just don't have the time to spend 10+ hours a week raiding to get ahead... and where is the fun in going click click click and seeing some numbers come up... well thats always been what its like but not for 10 hours a week lol. :)

To give some of the newer players and idea of how it used to be it used to be 1 turn generated per turn and that was it, no market, you could trade if you had ss and that was it. We've swung around to probably an average of mabye 9-15 turns per tick? Its a huge swing anyway, too far imo, 3 turns is good(I'd even support mabye 5 if they weren't artificially generated), it gives you enough to fight wars but keeps it strategic.

Some of you say you should work to get your army? Well... I'd prefer to get a real job and buy uu than raid, itd be more effective I think. :-) Thats why uu are worth $$ to some extent, the time needed to get them.

What would some of you say to a limit of perhaps 3-5k turns you could use a week? But you can hold as many 'turns' as you want? Would something along these lines be acceptable, it allows those who wish to raid to be able to... but prevents the ridiculous clickmonkeyfest thats been happening.

Or perhaps just killing the artificially generated turns fullstop? More turns does not equal more uu, if anyone wants me to explain this I'm quite happy to... :-) All it means is less time spent at the computer, oh and turns become Way more valuable... and don't tell me little people wont be able to afford it, they will still be able to raid and make a profit and buy turns from what they gain. Hell I used to attack for naq then buy ats back when it was 1 turn a tick.

- Edit - For mondomadmun - The market rates do change, but they do not reflect the 'actual value' of turns... they are supplemented by artificially generated turns.
