ok first off lets get something straight ....

ferra and i both have played the game for a long time....

secondly as stated in my previous post "with a few strike planets 5 bill doesnt cost them huge repairs so 5 bill is worth it to steal" some of the top farmers i know farm for anything over 5 bill regardless of the deffense simply because they can.

thirdly.... THIS IS A GAME OF WAR if your so damn stupid not to use a couple pages when making large purchases u deserve to be hit... how on earth are people suppose to know that u just made a MT purchase? how is it unethical and poor game play to see a couple bill and not hit it when u know u can beat the defense, they see naq see the defense and attack its that simple. Obviously u havnt played to many mmorpgs... ive been playing games like this for quite a few years now(close to 10 i think) the first thing i learned was to use several pages to make large purchases, and to use the ingame ppt to my benefit... i agree hiding on ppt is a bad practice ..but sometimes u need to..
if your defense was large enough then u wouldn't get hit its that simple..

"your strong at your level of play" ....well apparently your not or u wouldnt be hit for 5 bill naq..

your not being abused, your simply a decent farm... if your too dumb to use ppt or several browser pages to build then its your own fault no one want to keep hearing you whine cause your getting hit for 5 bill...

everything ive read from u is more protection of some sort but yet u say u dont like ppt ...hmm kinda odd u want to add more ppt like functions to the game...

ooh and btw a couple hundred bill in stats isnt a strong player...so quit whining or stop playing cause i doubt any of these suggestion will even be looked at

It's this abuse we're trying to address, and unless you're one of the ones doing it, it wouldn't affect you or your style of play. If you'd read the posts, you would know that even I have shot down my own suggestion on this one so it's no longer a "suggestion". But the aim remains the same - A little more BALANCE to prevent overt abuse in a total mismatch.

On the market ppt... Well... hitting someone who has just come from the market is cowardly and unethical and it's not in the spirit of any rpg I've ever played. You shouldn't *need* to run around "2 pages" or do anything unusual to finish your business after a trip to the market, not in a turn based game.

Fair!?!? Hitting someone while they sleep is not fair? Now I have heard it all, SGW is MMORPG its not a xbox game you can save and turn off because your two tired and want to sleep. Most people PPT during a war because there is no more to mass. And yeah building a def is the simplest way around it, for every 100m income you have you need 10b to cover it. Its not "abuse" its a god damn war game where you farm and raid to build, and mass people that mess with you. Its all fun, if you take farming that seriously then you shouldn't be playing this game. Either resolve the matter or stop complaining and get over it. Personally I think the game is balanced enough, if you really work for it you can have a huge army size or become rank one, at least its still more balanced then ascended. Hitting someone that is making a market purchase is not cowardly. I don't know what rpg your playing but this seems ethical. You wouldn't attack someone with a reasonable amount of naq out and a low def?

I don't usually comment on these things but there was one thing that bothers me. You say a player below pages 40-50 or whatever can't stop the attacks of someone wth a few hundred bril in strike. A few hundred bil is nothing and any active player banks/spends/hides their naq often and regularly, some people almost on the turn, every turn. I've been playing this game for 2 years and for the first 4-5 months I barely did anything, so yes, i got farmed. When i started being active, however, I stopped getting hit. The last time I got hit I had 22 bil out because I was at class and my def had been lower than it usually is. It doesnt take much to hide your naq and stop from being farmed, especially when you're small. And personally, i consider myself small-lower medium army size, anyways. Invest the time to play or don't, and suffer for it. There shouldnt be ingame mechanisms just because a very very small minority cant or dont want to bank/spend their naq more frequently.
