why on nearly half of my contacts (btw I have over 1000 people on 1 of my addies from SGW's) its people saying

'Selling naq for *$'s per trill'
'Selling uu for *$'s per mill uu'
'Selling DMU for *$'s per trill'

NO WONDER THE GAME IS DRYING UP, YOU LOT ARE DOING IT.

why not play the game how its ment to be played. Not playing it to make money, thats what a job is for.

Agree with you 100%

When i hit 200mill, i will focus on getting my mates and alliance all up to 200mill, if i ever do that (doubt it) i will likely sell to make a bit of cash, nothing huge just enough to fund a few nights out or two.

I've sold from other games to buy SS/USS in quantum, but not to make any personal profit. I don't have a problem with people who sell and reinvest, but it's a bit more dubious when people just take money out the game, not a fan of that really, especially when it's thousands. When you start getting into the realms of technically having to declare your SGW earnings to the taxman then it's definately over the top, lol.

I don't take the game seriously enough to spend money on it, though I can't say I'd particularly hesitate to sell the odd resource or two for petty cash. That said, I've not done it to date.

In all the... what, 2ish years I've been playing? It's never bothered me I suppose.

Why dont you ask Fatal1ty why he plays games.

Wendel has won approximately US$500,000 in cash and prizes from professional competitions, mainly in the Cyberathlete Professional League (CPL).

more here : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fatal1ty

Its fun to be good at somthing and get some $$ out of it.

You think SGW's bad for cash ?

Go play Counter-Strike there people are playing 24/7 to get into big lan contests such as CPL to get like 500k$ for first price and a new computer etc.

I met him on the CPL in Holland , cool guy , he was still a bit shy back then , but its like he sayd ," i love gaming , and i get payed to play and see the world. "
He also told me he trained 6 to 10 h a day ... its like SGW , the more time you put in it the more you get out of it , it can be your stats it can be by selling UU , naq .

Give to me? Har har har.

Now that we've got that idiotically cliched response out of the way.. I think that High Empty raises an extremely valid point. Look at the way ascension and main have been updated recently, and look at what happens to accounts which go over the 'limit' of army size. I guess it is just easier to sell stuff, or give it away to friends

It's a cliché question because it's asked too often.

It's asked too often because nobody actually answers "why not."

Let me answer why not.

It's because he has a burning desire to give the resources to me, but unfortunately, he doesn't know my ID. 8)

no absolutely not, i will never end up selling "excess".
i'd rather make my officer, alliance mates happy with em then myself, it's a game.

I've done a good bit of selling for cash in my day, made $1200 from it so I'm not going to say I was wrong to do it or anything I put the cash to good use. But since then I've gotten back into the game and now aiming for 100mil in the next few days.

I may sell for $$ again in the future, although market prices are a fraction of what I sold for before might not be worth it, but for now any money I make online I do through sites aimed at making money such as the one in my sig and a few others.

If games could give a higher income, then yeah I'd probably do it all the time, but for now its not worth it.
