He could then pump his naq back into his up who care if you in the plague, the next day you will be massing another , buy turns with your income all of them. Get real people the people in the game should never be in the plague, admin has designed it for you to attack people not sit there and build a few trillion def . If you have been ranked one and in the plague what else is there to do.

The funny thing about this is

1. I agree, there needs to be more wars
2. When there were more wars everyone just complained because they were being unfairly picked on and not being allowed to grow.

Funny stuff huh?

True - and those who complained about being picked on were generally the ones who spent lots of cash on the game, and the very people who wanted all the updates that made things easy and turned the game into a raid fest rather than a war game.

And now ascended is following in mains foot steps. One would think that an Admin would learn from his mistakes, not make them again in a world that has exponential growth so the reprocussions happen faster and with more severity.

Well, war game or not, some people always do things the exact opposite of what is supposed to be done. Examples: Going to a party but not getting drunk, going to church but not listening, eating food then puking it up, singing a song and shattering wine glasses. And last but not least, going to war but not expecting a battle.

P.S Going to bed with someone to do nothing but sleep, going to school to learn how to smoke. The list goes on. There is nice term for those people but I choose not to say it. Here, I will list some more, brushing your teeth without toothpaste, complaining about sleep then stay up all night.

And yes, this is to show that people do things for the wrong reasons. And most of the time, they do not even realize that they are doing it.

a lot of examples... o.o

but few solutions :P

well... what else is there to do?
Seriously, in war, nobody ever has ANYTHING to mass... everybody is left with a strike, AC, and a outgoing MS...

It just becomes a wait-fest...

And in the end, it's the people with higher army, more income, higher UP, that lose out...

Of course they'll end up as stat builders... and don't like wars, even in this war game...

Starry's point is well made though! What is the point having a defence when there is nothing to defend?

oh I'm sure there are a lot of good solutions, but no one really wants to hear them... such as making there a spoils of war for failing to rebuild anything that can be destroyed -- make a payout like 10x higher or a 10x loss of miners/lifers... it's these kinds of solutions that no one wants to hear.

furthermore, why mass people when you can just sell your resources for $$? It's far better to be a businessman and make a quick buck than going to war. It's the converse of what wolf said about people spending loads of money.

Perhaps instituting a war setting that allows people who are in war and are very large to have the plague deactivated, whereby giving them more incentive to fight rather than sit around.

yeah ur right,no one wants to hear bout miners being killable...when that happens, game will die in same moment.

more war options? well a war "rule"? saying that there must be minimum obtained let's say 200b def total in the alliance or 1 trill covert alltogether in 1 alliance? so there must be some stats....dunno..there are ways to make wars more interesting, and stop i think has been asking bout them for a long time but whining and complaining of some ppl messes that up

I'd say there are quite a few people willing to entertain the idea of killable miners/UU - as is evident from the content of a number of these threads. I equally believe that the game would not die if and when that was to happen - as long as it was introduced properly with accompanying changes. I've yet to see any worthwhile argument that shows any type of evidence that the game would die in this circumstance.

But introducing a minimum amount for stats before a war can start? - There's massive potential there to not only kill it off, but also to ensure it's buried 6 feet under and covered with cement!

No one will declare war then a minimum amount? My first question is would be how . If you dont have the army you cant war? You going to stop massing somehow? The only way you can possibly do this is when you attack someone is freeze you from selling your goods for your def but then someone can go around not have a def and just mass. It will be harder but thats what they do now.
