I've said why profanity should be filtered, and it has nothing to do with whether youngsters use such language or not, and won't repeat it again. If people can't, or won't, understand or accept it, then unlucky.
I do agree with Jack and Tok'ra, however, that certain other words which are filtered, should perhaps not be - but until I know what all of the words are, I cannot make any suggestions up the chain of command.

we have found a very nice solution to using profanities... just use something like fgsibrfuiuvrf... it has absolutely no meaning, so it doesnt count as profanity, yet it still gets the meaning of being greatly annoyed out...
