Luke in the grand scheme of things, if he had been around back in the day, would probally have been on a par with maybe A few of the less powerful jedi council members, And he is FAR less wise....FAR less.

A minor Technicality, Fisto knew his duty, and mentioned to Mace windu he would much prefare to wait for Master Yoda and Obi One to return, That was entirely Windus Fault, Fisto was not know for his great skill with a sabre however, it was his connection with the force that stood him in such great stead, Besides, he lasted longer than the other two, and died with a smile on his face. yeah..Revan and Malak would pwn them all. As Kriea quite nicely points out..the jedi and sith are getting weaker with time, the modern Jedi and Sith would stand no chance against the old ones.

Luke beats palp because palp has his same flaw, he's over confident. Luke dosent make the force storm come and devour palps. Actually if memory serves R2D2 drives eclipse II into the storm.. and Exar Khun is, admitted by Lucas himself, the most powerful force user and jedi/sith of all time. Yept..he is the main mon. But he died like 3-6000 years ago..

So no..OH! and lets not forget Darth Nilhius! He can devour planets. Darth Sion who can all but not be killed.

Luke is not, never could have been and never will be the strongest Jedi/sith to have ever lived. Nope, nadda, never in a million year.

And on a finaly note, he dosent rebuild the new order alone, Obi Wan Kenobi remains and helps him, before vanashing for about 300 years when he returns to help lukes future descendant.

ok Anakin beat the Emperor Luke didn't touch him, Luke kicked the Reborn Emperors ass and in The Unifying Force Luke used a style so similar to Vaapad that Jacen believed Luke had 20 or 30 lightsabers at once but instead of having darkness at the center he was calm. Luke has the full potential of Anakin and it was already stated that Anakin had the most raw power of any Jedi to ever live. Read the books then get back to me on who is more powerful, none of the old school Jedi can touch Luke. Revan is the character of a game and therefore is not canon once a book is written about him I will give him more respect but if you judge by that then Kyle Katarn cannot be beaten in any form of combat by anyone.
