Most big threads these days have a few pages of actual relevant stuff in them, accompanied by dozens and dozens of pages of spam and/or trading petty (mostly irrelevant) insults.
Once upon a time, when people were more restrained when it came to posting irrelevancies, threads of 20+ pages were considered huge.
