Smoosh is personnel admin, Bazsy is technical admin.
IMO, there should be a third PR admin, which is basically doing what smoosh has been doing in seeking community opinions. then we have a new personnel admin who is the head admin.
someone has recently(yesterday) said i should be an admin... and to be completely honest, i don't want the job. i neither consider myself qualified, nor interested in such a position.
anyway, my opinion on the matter.

Jack no one is denying you have good points except yourself by your own accord and level of inappropriateness and negativity. You negate your own points and deny your self any validity or respect. At this point I have to question your newly appointed position and your decisions, based on your own words and actions. you should have expected that being as you havnt offered any intelligible reasons as to why you were appointed such a position, or why the community should automatically respect you.

guys, any chance we could stop all this mud slinging and stay on topic because this is a very serious matter. we need to get to the root cause of this and the root cause of this seems to me to be smoosh.
smoosh has used (IMHO) very poor judgment and is running things like a dictator and this needs to be addressed and i would greatly appreciate it if people didnt use my thread (yes i am nobodyhere for all those who haven't worked it out yet) to air their personal grievances.
NOW, it seems very clear to me that jen and FS have been sacked for no good reason and smoosh is doing nothing to address this, i say thats an abuse of his position and should step down as admin ASAP...
do i hear a 2nd?

Teal'auc - Everyone makes mistakes, goes with being human and I am sure you have made some - cant be helped. I would think however these didnt include subjecting some1 because they have different views. As you say you mod friends and foes alike.

I think it is obvious that we shouldnt, No1 gets respect it is earned by actions both past and present. Based on some of his posts as well that show him not acting as a MOD should it will be a while before he gets it from many people.

I dont feel I have any right to second that motion and it may be premature to ask for his resignation before he has a chance to speak and the chance to defend himself and explain his reasoning.
I do believe we all are here to give all of you the right to speak including Smoosh.

ALLOT of people who are not happy with the state of the forum and smoosh has done nothing to address that problem so i have very little faith he will address this one to a reasonable outcome.

if the forum was an alliance and smoosh was the leader we ALL would have asked him to step down AGES ago...correct?

Problem is... he has no valid reason for sacking us. Everything he will say will be mislead and sometihng he made up in his head. There is no other reason than his personal dislike of him towards me and FS. And quite frankly, I am not the only (ex)mod who thinks this. There are mods on current team who believe it all was unfair and they have no idea why we were fired. Nothing was discussed with Bazsy, who is second admin and call him technical admin or whatsoever, he is still an admin and it should be discussed with him.
Yet, smooshable made this decision solely on his own...with questionable reasons. Of course he will try to convince people how righteous he was and how reasonable for him was to fire us.
But, as quite some amount of mods agree... it was all only because we disagreed... and personal note as to why other 'vocal' mods were not fired yet is only smooshable's politic game to not reveal that fact that soon... and you know... he may always fire these mods, when the waves smooth themselves and fire fades down in the cold.

1st Good answer ,nicely done Jack, as I said this is whats expected and what I know you are capable of.
2nd Smoosh has a right to answer these allegations same as anyone weather he chooses to accept responsibility and defend himself is his choice.
If you want a vote for a resignation I would suggest a poll for any one who so choose to be informed and participate. This may not accomplish much if at all it would and could show smoosh that the Emperor has no clothes on, and would give Jason a tool to work with while confronting this situation, in dealing with smoosh besides the numerous emails and raving posts.

No need to lynch smooshable like that... he just needs to realize he's not the sharpest tool in the shed... I just hope Admin Jason will correct things here himself. As he's only higher instance I and few others believe as of now. (Well and Bazsy, as he's second forum admin)

Sorry for double post but can't be bothered editing.
There's no need for smoosh to step down - but there is a need for more communication and involvement generally within the mod team. Some decisions have been made - some without apparent reason, others in the name of giving the wider community a say in how the forum is run - I'm all for that - but not at the expense of potentially undermining those who are appointed to ensure the smooth running of the forum - i.e. the mods.
Most of the arguments within here are centred around that.
