It makes me sick, I can't remember the last time a sporting event made me sick. They got 1 back, maybe they can make it competitive again.

sarparto wrote:The penguins are pathetic. Penalty 10 seconds in, leads to a goal 22 seconds later. Then a shorthanded goal to make it 4-0 midway through the second period. Why bother showing up, and charging your fans, if you aren't even going to try to win.

That's how I felt yesterday..

You know what I think? If we played San Jose, or Detroit, we would have probably won. No offense to any of those fans out there.

Chicago just gets under our skin, they are our kryptonite. I don't get it. No single other team has given us this much trouble in the past four years.

Although, or maybe because, I have no major stock in any Eastern Conference teams, the Eastern Conference playoffs have been the most exciting playoffs that I can remember for any sport in a while.

I haven't watched any of the Eastern Conference games so..not sure about that. The Western Conference seems erm..stupid.

An 8 seed just overcame a 3-1 series deficit against the President's Cup winner, and arguably the best player in hockey. Same team then came back from a 3-2 series deficit against the defending Stanley Cup Champions and 2 time defending Eastern Conference Champions and arguably the best player in hockey (Ovechkin and Crosby are basically 1A/1B in whatever order you see fit). On the other side of the conference semi's a team's overcome a 3-0 series deficit, lost their starting goalie midway through game 5, and have forced a game 7. Did I mention the four seeds going into the semi's were 4,6,7,8? That's right three first round upsets and we could have a 7-8 for the Conference title.

How fitting is it that Boston has blown a 3-0 series lead and a 3-0 lead in game 7? Unbelievable!
