Swapping Tevez for Torres? Bit of luck or pure managerial genius.

bit of both ;)

Helping me collect points and close in on the top half of the table. the chase is on!

That was a bad week for 90% of the people playing this week..the only plus point i gained 10 points on the leader and somehow managed to keep hold of second place :D
I have had to use my wildcard i had made to many changes in my team and i wanted rid of 6 players as my team Liverpool are hitting form and my main main Dirk is back in the team...Goodbye to Zabaleta(Man City suck)..Bale (you only seem to shine on CL nights)...Anelka (you are just not drogba)....Sorensen(where did you go to)...Adebayor(you suck no matter what team you play in) and last but not least Shawcross (the red card at the weekend cost you in my team + you suck this season)

I have said 1 preson who i have replaced them with but the rest i am keeping quite until after the next set of games :-D

Maddog...when you swap a player around it's only bad luck if the other player scores more points (the one on the bench) its pure managerial genius when its the other way round though :-D

My automatic substitutions didn't happen so I lost out on Colocinni coming off the bench to replace Dann and it cost me the precious 5 points :/ anyone know what happened there?

Anywho I still can't seem to find a team combination that works, when Kalou started for Chelsea I thought "As I trade him for Nasri..." but that was eased away after the game. Anyone with Reina as their keeper got a nice set of points.

Anyone read the article on goal.com about Park being United's hero and how bad that was?

That's what happens when Nani or the likes don't play, it has to come from players who are less successful. Which turns them successful.

If you were to buy the current dream team it would cost only 85.2 points

The problem comes in filling the bench, you'd probably have to substitute Drogba for someone like Berbatov, then have Gilks, Williamson, Ferguson and Varney as your bench and you'd be able to have most of the dream team and some high scorers

I've not done too bad despite mistake to have put Essien on bench (he did 8pts) and to have picked Nani as captain (only 3pts) while a player like Chamakh did 13pts in my team...oh well, still that it is second best score -it seems- of the sgw league this week despite those mistakes. Finally back on "regular" success of mine.

I seemed to do average again this game week, slowly catching up on some, but I think I lost too many points so may take a while to climb back up

I hope my latest transfer will be successful for next weeks..
Drogba for Torres.

Edit: my team is *so* epic that I even gain extra points after the points are being calculated and validated (not provisional points but the final points you can post in facebook).
So I gained a rank, back to rank 6 and gained 3 points from it.

The top 2 is lucky: I again made a mistake in my captain choice, or else I'd be rank 1 in the sgw league if I did choose Fabregas or VdV as I planned initially to do, but for some reason decided not to (Torres seemed to be score machine, but I was wrong this time).

I'm just glad to be in the top have of the league. Someone named Elmander had a big week for me.
