I just said Sayonara Forgotten Serenity and that there will be no quarter. You are welcome to surrender and accept a long NAP anytime. Obviously this war won't be one where we have tons to kill every day, though we hope you who declared this war would at least make this worth our while. There's no saying we will follow the plan you have laid out for us in the coming days, weeks or months. Families of alliances share a common bond and a common responsibility. There are consequences to being aligned with people such as yourselves. We'll see if that becomes an issue or not.

Honestly, we don't care. We are bored and tired of being nice with an alliance who clearly has had little interest in treating us how they wish to be treated. You say our OE war rubbed off on us, I say you guys are showing the exact same attitudes that we face with every alliance we end up fighting. It's okay, you're in good company with most every other major alliance out there. We'll just sit on you until you feel like this was maybe a pretty horrible idea of yours and give in to our demands and we find a real solution to our long history of issues.

As has been told to you before, you're welcome to discuss NAPs with the other two, you choose not to.

You talk about proper treatment? The one real rule FS has, you don't want to respect. DRA is an option, an option that works, and is working.

Maybe we sound like the others because, quite possibly, we're all right about you. But don't delude yourself into thinking we'll ever regret this.

Also about hitting ppt, Halisstra is off to uni this weekend, i'm spending some time with her rather than gatewars... lol

We weren't threatening you. We were explaining the situation. If FS thinks it's okay to mass TAF people over one hit, then we are going to open ourselves up to the possibility of doing the same. I've negotiated and agreed to those stupid NMA's with FS countless times over the years...they always get broken right away by FS. We're done with them. We tried it your way. It doesn't work with you. So we gave you some options:

1. Don't attack us. We didn't mass anyone who didn't show up in our logs.
2. Agree to a NAP. That way noone gets hit and noone gets massed since obviously it's impossible for you guys to agree to your own concept of profitable farming.
3. Get treated how you treated our member. Attack us and get massed. Easy.

These aren't unreasonable options we gave you. Clearly you didn't pick 1 or 2. Instead you declared war. So you got massed. Well those of you off PPT at least. Will wait for your nice defense Drahazar and whatever else we're lucky enough to find out there. Yay. War is fun...

These arguments are somewhat petty, from both sides.

The truth is that TÅF and FSF have been on the brink of war several times already this year. We have done diplomacy time and time again, and it's just about held an uneasy truce for a little bit here and there. This time there was another string of incidents, and it was just too much for diplomacy to solve, so force was needed and massings occurred.

The comparisons with OE, although amusing, are not accurate... TÅ has not really changed in the past 7 years, the values we held back then are those we hold now. We don't have a one hit mass policy, or anything similar. We are still very diplomatic in our approach, but perhaps more forceful in our response where it is required. To any other alliances out there who's minds are wondering what TÅ might do next; we would choose to sit in peace. If you leave us alone, we will never have any problems. There has never been a "tick, tock" or a "bloody sunday" that involves TÅ. And that is why we favour NAPs over farming agreements.

I don't blame FS for declaring war on TÅ. It's good to stand up for what you believe in. The issue that TÅ are having is that since the war was declared yesterday, FS have not really managed to do much. When it is required for TÅ to strike, we strike hard and fast, as we have always done. Damage gets dealt, defenses fall and units die. Look at some of the battles that were waged in the recent TÅ vs Ricos war as a great example. That is the best way to enjoy a war. To the members of FS I'd say "Give TÅ a good, clean, quick fight". That will be the best way for us to work away the tensions and enable us to move on.

Oh yeah. And also not very smart on your part. Pride comes before the fall. Hmm I used to say that to omega in past wars

Les, I would put those two together and point out how much of an oxymoron they are.. but you posted them right after each other! First you say 'we will build stats' then you say 'let's sit statless'..
