WoofyBear beings the day reading the reports. He looks up as he hears the voice of his ships captain. "The villagers have attacked sir. There were brief sightings, a few surgical strikes and then they vanished. Perhaps we can trick them into coming out of hiding." "Yes." WoofyBear replied. "This is exactly what I have planned. Send out one of our supply ships and let them think its unprotected. Keep the scanners on, ships armed and ready to act." Turns passed. Nothing happened. Then quickly, as if from no where, the forces of ~Coyle~ took the bait. "Sir! Ships have been detected. It is as you said, they would attack in force. Sir, we are taking losses!" "Wait for it." Woofy says to his captain in a calm voice. "You don't want to spook them. They may have more out there waiting for just this type of trap." When it was clear that ~Coyle~ was fully committed to the attack WoofyBear struck with full force. Moments later, the surviving forces of ~Coyle~ were scattered. His defense destroyed, his highly trained spies executed and his mother ship in ruins.

"Captain, round up the survivors and use them to replenish our ranks, we will need some cannon fodder for the next phase."
"Send a transmission into the HVE, tell them I am here and waiting. Their diplomacy has failed. They can meet in battle with honor or they can be crushed in their homes." Moments later there is a reply. "Sir, we are getting a reply from the Bromas sector. They are saying that they have chosen a champion that is willing to meet you in battle, but they say they wish only you to meet them on the field."

WoofyBear stretches his muscles, pops his back and orders his ship's captain to send orders to the Deltan brothers to stand down. "Sir, are you sure this is wise? I know the rumors are they are only agrarian societies but I have had reports that they have attained higher levels of tech."
WoofyBear looks to his captain and says in a commanding voice. "I too have heard these reports, as you well know, but no amount of tech they now have or hope to possess will help them in their rebellion. Send word to the Deltan Fleets to stand down. This one has honor and will be met with the same."

As orders go out to the Deltan fleets on the edge of the HVE systems, WoofyBear engages the armies of Bromas.
"Sir! We have just completed repairs on our ships and our defenses are now what they were when we met ~Coyle~ in battle~ We are taking heavy losses!." Once again, WoofyBear says in a calm voice to his captain. "Son, be patient. Let him commit his forces. If you act too quickly, our losses will be greater and he will vanish like the others." Once the forces of Bromas had committed fully to the battle, WoofyBear struck. "Now captain! Don't mind the losses, reinforcements are on their way. Continue the assault until the defenses are gone. Leave none alive. Bromas had honor and his followers will die with honor, willingly or not."

As quickly as the battle began it was over. The defenses burning to ash as the reinforcements arrived. Bormas's mother ship, seemingly not fit for salvage at this point still managed to send a transmission. "Well fought." said the voice through the com. WoofyBear replied "well fought indeed. "Remove us from the area captain. His defenses are gone, our job here is done." As WoofyBear turns to get his second coffee he hears the coms again. "You said that it would only be you on the field! Others from the Delta sector are destroying what remains of my armies." WoofyBear sips his coffee and replies. "Yes, we had our battle, but our battle was over when your defenses dropped. You fight fought well. You're valor will be remembered.

"Sir, he was an honorable opponent, do you think there will be more of his kind in the HVE sector?" "Possibly, there is no telling what is hidden in the villages. Time will tell."

"Give me a status report on our little surprise. I need the Honey Badger ready for action when the time comes."
"The Badger is at full capacity, my lord. Loaded and ready..."
"Good"
Seconds turned to minutes and it was almost about half an hour until the enemy troops took the bait.
"Woofybear is under attack. His forces are joining the fray."
Arkenius moved the Honey Badger in front of his fleets and launched the attack.
"Very well! Power up the main shield generators and load the cannons to 200%. It's showtime! All fleets unleash hell!"
