But remember, as one system lord falls, then another replaces them.
Without many system lords then there is no balance, and the Tok'ra always try to keep any one system lord being the most powerful.
That fragile system is no longer.
Time will tell.

Well for a start, ancients did not create life in the milky way. The Ancients (or Altera) came to this galaxy and then started to explore and put stargates out there. Life was already here
Goauld did not have to have human hosts. The first host was a Una, that came to the water to drink.
There is nothing stating that the Goauld would of stayed in there pond, as clearly they have shown sentiant behaviours.
Humans where taken as hosts as they could be much more easily "repaired" and the image fitted in with those in this galaxy.
As decreade by Ra.
And, talking to a god, then no matter what ancient technology you have, the Powers of the Ori will diminish you. And I am sure, Lord Reschef, will rip your tongue out and feed it to his slaves.
Do not forget, the Ori are the ones that drove the Alterans from there galaxy in the first place. Ancients, running from a war again, seeing a pattern here, first the Ori, then the Wraith, next the Goauld?

just for the idiots
this is not the show
if it was the only races you would be able to be is ancient or tauri
but the tauri would only have a max army size of a few hundred
and the ancients wouldnt be able to attack
