no scammer is the same, and to be honest my plan was to stay clear when i bought this account i had no plans of scamming anyone was going to sell the account to earn more on it then i bought it for to buy a nicer account , but now since ive lost the account which i payed for, it really makes me want to scamm some one to get back what i lost but i am not going to do it.

After all this I'm ashamed to have been under you at one point.

RoKeT, don't start giving resources here and there. Give someone that account that deserves it and has use for it. Perhaps a returning player that needs an account or a new player, that has potential.

I like this idea too, and get this thread closed. You got the supporters and you have the ones that disagree, this is common ethics, the likes of which are the building blocks for a persons entire emotional / moral character. You wont change anyones mind by posting here and arguing. This is getting dragged out, sick of seeing people bashing Roket, or others bashing ones opinions.

If you stated your opinion, let it go, this is not that big of a deal. Come on, the lengths that you guys are going to insult one another is getting to be too much...Mods should have closed this long ago. Roket dont forget what you said, you said when ive payed back what fenrir scammed ill give him what is left, and what is left is the account so i wouldnt minde getting it back since you have made me pay for my scamms and just to reminde everyone i did not scamm this account from anyone bought it with my own money

Don't lower yourself (or lower yourself further in the eyes of some) by not returning the account as you said you would in the first place

I'm still with Clarkey at this point and always will be, i have never been scammed, i know its a very real risk, and i'm naturally cautious. If i was silly enough to not to get (at least 5) references from a trader and do my in depth background check, and then pay half now half after i have the stuff for example and got scammed, i would not trade with the scammer again, however i would NOT scam my stuff back from him/her i would simply write it off as a bad debt. If someone was to offer my stuff back for free after i had written it off i would share it with my alliance (as i had already written it off it wouldn't cause a shortfall in my accounts to ignore it and share it with alliance mates).

In the real world business's have an account called allowance for doubtful debt, this account is sort of a safeguard, your know you wont get all of your creditors to pay you so you put some aside for the inevitable bad debt that you will suffer at some point. NO one that i know of does this in this game bar myself, and i don't really trade much.....

Scamming someone bad for a good cause is never that simple, there are always repercussions eg. If i was to steal for a nasty Dictator and give the money to charity, he will go on a killing spree. If i was to steal money from a big corporation that was exploiting child labor and give to charity, well the company might go down, thousands of people would lose their jobs, homes, their children would be hungry and homeless.

My point is this, who are we to take these things into our own hands when we wont ever know the full extent of the damage it will do, robin hood got people killed...

If you want scamming to stop, do it the right way, have we tried signing a petition, creating a union, going on strike, if all active accounts hit vac for a week, i'm sure mods would be more willing to implement ideas for anti-scamming measures that people have suggested.

A "he stole so its ok for me to steal back" mindset is just down and out wrong, its at this time i quote the bible, "thou shalt not steal" tho religion might not be for everyone, the 10 commandments, no mater if your christian or not, guide a better way for life.

The only thing i have learnt from this thread is that more people are morally ambiguous than i originally thought.

why? because he proved he didn't change? because 95% of the community didn't want him to have it back? He would have got the account had he not been such an ass about it, had he proved to me some how some way he had changed but he didn't so meh I gave to Clarkey, who will probably delete it for all I care but he's been the Multi guy from the begining and I"m so done with this thread no one came forward although Fenrir's been doing it for years he did not only scam VK and if you believe that you are just silly Fenrir I hope this teaches you how it feels to lose something from a trusted person and maybe the next time youw ant to scam you'll change your mind as you'll know what it's like, but if your like you are in PM"s and you just don't care who you hurt then I'm sorry there isn't much help for you

I have NO PROBLEMS I don't see this as a problem I just figured Clarkey would know better what to do, would you rather have me just delete it, I can do that too but Fenrir will not get the account back not after the "messages/threats" I recieved...

Lulz. No one should of spoken up at all and offered you a solution to get you out of the mess that you got yourself into. The fact that you have no problems with any of this is the issue.

where do you see I need a solution? i was taking advice personally I think I was the solution, and if you still don't see that, then why sit here and troll??? all your doing is saying the same thing over and over and over good job Earendil your a troll now move on and make yourself useful somewhere else in this forum, I could have sworn admin had jobs to do?
