Now the subject of the extra MT.

Sure i wouldnt mind it i wont lie, but as it gives us an unfair advatage and the community would be outraged when it found out it can not go through .
i think youll all find that the mere suggestion of the fourth MT we all got glossy eyed thinking of the possibility's of such an advantage, but after a few days of thinking about and getting over the initial shock(OMG IM GETTING A FOURTH MT....THATS SOOO COOL) we all decided that it shouldnt be done so an email was sent to jason. as of yet this hasnt been implemented trust me i would of used it by now :p

Your version of the story rings somewhat more true to what I suspect happened than some of the other stories that have been hearing. Anyway, the "we really started thinking about it and realized it wasn't a good idea but that happened before the story was leaked and we were exposed" still sounds highly suspect.

Things are done in private for a reason people, do u actually think u know all that goes on in your own countries government thats suppose to be public knowledge? Exactly why this wasnt released to the public. anyone with half a brain could realise this would bring an outcry from the cumminty. so all anyone has acomplished in posting "private" mod sections, mod meetings, and/or irc logs(btw i still want to know how that got out.... /me goes fishing on irc ) is doing just that... creating chaos and animosity toward the current administration of these forums.

True, but most people don't trust governments. Is that really the kind of relationship that the mods want with the community? Mistrust, secrecy, and bad feelings? I hope not as I like and am on good terms with several of the current mods and would find that kind of atmosphere unpleasant.

One day in an msn convo a mod would have sold MTs for xy reason then buyers would have realized something fishy was occuring, they would have accused him/her firstly to b a cheater (4MTs a week, is not possible), then they would have EVENTUALLY, tried to investigate situation and talk to other mods trying to make them bring the thing out. Then they would have made a tasty conspiracy theory (true tho) topic in general section, feeding tons of flaming and conspiracy theories and then some mods would have been massed for that...that would be so if noone realized/told about it, and it being implemented!

there has never been a 4th MT for mods... it was supposed to be tested on the coming monday, but due to the outrage a such thought has caused to the public, it has been decided that the MT will not be implemented...

Oh yes I do! As if it didn't go the way it went, it would have went the way I told!!
So, the "there's a reason to keep such things hidden" is wrong as when truth explodes in the light of the world it does more damages than that should..
If noone would have known yet MTs would have implemented, or if not, that would have come in light later and that would have caused troubles

I like that.... "tested". To see if the other non-mods would notice? To see if it worked out for the mods?

No one would have told us about this had EtL not mentioned it. We are meant to look up to you guys, and you so badly want us to. How can we when you lie, deny and plot behind closed doors about things that DO effect the game.

I said it somewhere (publically) and it was also the first time i had heard about the new MT (i cant remember the thread) that i was against it, as i always have been, but i would like to know, how can we all be lieing when its obvious someone was told, as its being disscussed now....And was being disscussed about 2 days ago?

Now the issue at hand, i never wanted the extra MT, it has been gotten rid off, end of storey.

The title, well thats just cool and it probally annoys some people that we have special sexy titles ingame but frankly it serves sod all purpose

Then why did you take the position when so many others are quite ready and willing to jump into your role without demanding or expecting any sort of thank you's or kick backs.

Do not complain that you are a mod and its hard and you deserve something. You don't have to be one, and you have never been forced. You should feel honoured to have been chosen to do a thankless job and you need to accept that it always going to be thankless. You SHOULD be doing it for the good of the community, not for self recognition, a "greatest mod" award, or so that you can throw around phrases like "do you know how much I do for this forum!".

You were not voted onto this island, and to be honest, if it were a voting scenario, most of you would in fact be voted OFF the island. If thats disrespectful, then I'm sorry but its the truth and you need to stop acting like you deserve a giant customized piñata.

If you don't like the job, easy, quit. I did, it was quite easy. As soon as I did I noticed that the mods whine a hell of a lot more than any of the normal forum goers. But hey, what do we know right?
