my card never arrived and it was sent the day this post was made.. as i read it before it was officially posted ...
St Judes is one of the types of foundations that would distribute cards all over the world right? Also Ronald McDonald House is one I would DEFINITELY consider as well. I have volunteered for them for the last 3 yrs on weekends and what they do for families is amazing. (Besides that for the entire time that all the people were at the site for 9/11 and excavating, McDonalds had a RV there providing breakfast/lunch/dinner 24 hrs a day during the full duration with free food for the workers...

No saint jude's is a childrens hospital that specializes in case of cancer in children. And yes, the Ronald McDonald house would be a good choice. Back in 93 when I was a little kid, when I had my tonsils taken out, the Ronald McDonald house helped my mom out with the bill and gave me a load of stuffed animals. *reminisces*

Oh, yes, Shriners, I forgot about them. They would be good too. Depending on how many people want to do this, we could send to more then one of them.
I don't know about you, but I have not given to any good cause in a while. I just might be slipping christmas money in my letters. Lol, not trying to pressure anyone. Too bad no one here can get a good deal with fed-ex, then we could give teddy bears away.

everybody does Teddy Bears we are all so very good at writing our thoughts and we are so diverse, we should write a children's book about overcoming adversity its so easy to self publish now and then everyone could contribute a little story in a specific thread. Then send a little book.

A good idea, but would one book be enough? We cannot afford to start our own publishing company, lol.

no just one little book Im sure there is an English major in here somewhere who would be willing to Edit. We all have connections so production(printing) would be the next issue.

And since everyone has SOOOO much practice talking on the forums, everyone contributing a page would not be very complicated. I am in favor of doing this. I have also been looking up how to bind books. Its not really that hard, but I would rather have some one with nimble fingers do it then me. Hey tweety since you where where interested in doing something, do you like this idea?

Santa supports this idea.
With many sick and homeless people in the world every little touch is a touch to harmony. Call Santa if he needs to grab his sled and help out

I used too work for a magazine finsihing company .
I still have conections with them and they have conections with printing companys.
maybe they might be open too doing a small run on a magazine type thing for charity unsure but could always ask if the plan gets going.
unless someone else has closer ties with the industry obviously.

Tweety what do you think you had some good ideas above as to where to distribute.
Couple of questions for concept ?
Setting, past present or future
Location, Earth another planet or Solar system
character's, How many? / male , female or both
Realistic or fantasy
FS want to move and Mod this.
