Forum - Is it just the Daimon that has double losses or is it the person they battle with too? We're a little confused on this (well, at least i am lol)

point is, there is now an out. take it or leave it..its the only one.
i would rather have players in ascension who like/want to play, than constant complainers/whiners that just want to sit and pout ...so this gives everyone what they want - within boundaries :)

the 'game updates' are current. its 'one sided only' for now...

the point here is to give those who dont want to play ascension an 'out' ... without in effect resetting their account. this will leave those who want to play ascension, in ascension.

and if an update that allows ascended account to temporarily help main account ever comes out (no promises but no complete banning of the idea either), they would obviously not benefit...likewise if glory&rep in future provides a more direct benefit...

I personally like it better the other way, because can you imagine trying to mass while being a daimon and taking twice the losses of the other guy, and them not? It would be a fruitless endeavor. But obviously you can't please the everyone, so it is probably alright.

Still think twice losses on both sides would be interesting. It would actually add abit of strategy to who you have in your alliance. Having a mix of living gods and daimons would provide interesting gameplay during wars, unlike the current state of all living gods or AG's, ect. But, meh... :lol:

I agree with Munchy on double losses on both sides BUT.... Not always, how about adding

THE ASCENDED CURSE
It works as ascended blessing, but opposite effect lol. Kind of. So attacking someone and getting Ascended Curse you do (percent of Ascended Curse) less damage and take (percent of Ascended Curse) more losses, but so does opponet?
A punishment but just not all the time?

that was my thinking too, but if it makes the daimon more powerful than the ascends, sorta defeats the purpose...
i like the 'double edge sword' concept of a daimon. if i can think of a 'good' other double edge, i will add (if i can do it in next day or 2, as after that i want to finalize the update so people can use it if they wish :) )
the ascended curse i am not sold on :) --i think it would make planning/strategy very hard... although will think a bit more on this...

My friend couldn't ascend to AG+1.

Okay so obviously we need to think of a new double sword effect, that will hurt Daimons let's say 60% and ascended people 40% or something, simply put Daimons must loose more but still some kind of double sword...

And Yeah Ascended Curse was a quick idea (thanks to Mato) but it can be named like something else or work some other way, something in a mixture of a double sword, opposite ascended blessing and being more beneficial for ascended player in ascended vs daimon battle...

Causing losses on both sides, even if it is 60/40 or whatever, makes it more beneficial to be a daimon. Keep in mind, those who still play ascended will stil have to worry about retaliation on that server while the daimons do not, and most daimons will have a bigger % boost to there main accounts. And before anyone says it, im not talking about me fearing retaliation, though now i do have to worry about that a little more ;)

Good point about Daimons not having to worry about ascended server... But Daimons can't ascend again unless they go to normal race and start at prior again... So wouldn't it be fair if they have double losses to have atleast some effect to the attacker?

Example ascended player attacks a Daimon kills double his def units and steals his naq, BUT he also... (now put something here)
