As the typical Obama supporter says, "Now I won't have to worry about paying for gas for my car or paying for my mortgage anymore."
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P36x8rTb3jIThey are in for a rude awakening, but who will get the blame since dub'ya will be gone and they can't blame the house or senate either.

i hope for the same with obama. get good advice and listen to it. not much else to hope for really except that he doesnt start a nuclear war etc
1st black president though. quite historic. kennedys prediction was right
You know thats really unfair as Boris is really quite intelligent and clever. Yeah he is a it of a bumbler but hes not retard and neither is he silly enough to ruin London.
If anything hes likely to turn out much better in the same space of time than livingstone did
EDIT: anywho congrats to obama for winning an election, now he has to try and do something with the power and i'm guessing thats gonna be hard.
BTW alreaady russia has made agressive moves over the defence shield and put its own missile regiments on EU borders. Wonder how he'll deal with that (how very cuban missile crisis

)
EDIT2; Russian Missile linky

russians are being annoying again. if they keep rattling the saber eventually the blade will fall off and impale them. obama's 1st action will be war with russia?

Not only that he didnt get his Democratic house so all these "changes" that soothed the fears of Americans who blindly followed their " savior" over the cliff like lemmings will never get passed.
We will all soon find out what a lame duck token president he really is and oh wait... low and behold what catastrophe he will be scapegoat for while the Republicans wait and watch in the wings for 2012.
Thats assuming he lives through the first year of trials and tribulations and threats publicly made and prophesied by his own Vice President , good ol boy Biden who is as much old Washington as George or McCain lol.
and if there is change one can only hope that by default, is our African American Population being empowered and

Lame duck token president being a graduate from harvard and columbia? Come on! That's entertaining for people for a laugh but please!

He also was the president of Harvard law review.
Lol at people criticizing Obama the most, who mostly will never be able to do same as what he did as studies !
As for the last paragraph, it doesn't even
deserve a comment.

Obama's advisor even said his economic plan wouldnt work. what now?
He has underlying socialist motives.
Also, how many people voting for Obama actually pay taxes?
thats why all the kids voted him, they have no idea what taxes are. when you get a real job you'll regret it. your paycheck should be yours, not to some welfare/support crap for ppl who cant do it themselves.
Look back in the 40's. Germans voted hitler for HOPE. thats just how obama got into office.. waiting for something radical to happen now.. HA

That reminds me of my reaction when mr Sarkozy was elected in France. I was left wing at that time. I was like "omg it's going to be terrible, we are doomed waa waa"...no doom or chaos yet, after a year and half.
So, you are making mountains out of molehills with Obama.
Disrespect I see on those threads about the candidate amaze me. Or is it more amazing that I treated respectfully both candidates for whole campaign on those forums? One can wonder...

Well, Hitler made good on a lot of his promises. He revitalized the German economy, and he restored a sense of national pride to a flagging and despondent nation. Comparing him to Obama is a little ridiculous, though.
The bottom line is that Obama simply
can't make good on a lot of what he's promised. Members of his campaign have already admitted that legislating some of his manifesto is going to be difficult. You think the Drug companies and their Washington lobbyists are going to allow radical Universal Health Care proposals? You think the Iraq situation can really be solved as easily as he claims? You think utopia is honestly just around the corner?
The sad truth is that "change we can believe in" takes a lot more than sunny smiles and well rehearsed speeches, and I think a lot of Obama supporters are going to be sorely disappointed in a few years time.

No matter what, this election will be remembered as the first election of a non white guy. If Clinton came and won, would have been first woman president. If it was McCain who won, first woman VP (Sarah Palin).
This election was meant to be a change, yes. Not only for future, but for election itself.
And people seem to forget (or avoid) it, aside of few people in the topics.

I was being sarcastic..
Because simplyfying world in a bipolar political system, between communists and fascists...seem to be oh so often commonly used!

If you have all the answers Pops then can you elaborate on what exactly Obama said he would change ?? and how the heck you think he can pull it off. lol
I know all you non Americans are just thrilled to see Obama elected but honestly its just a different shade of lipstick on the same ol pig. But if that makes the pig prettier to all of the rest of the world then I guess the Republicans win for loosing.
