Because you got helped by the tauri, and tauri are heroes, so heroes never die, even if it's ridiculously stupid in more than one situation, they are supported by the heroes, and that means they have not end they should LOGICALLY have: as tollan had.

Because we were to bad guys and you needed help from heroes or you would have been decimated more than once...by us.
Just see how dark side in Star wars is powerful...but as a bad side against heroes, they can't win. If we translated SG1 into reality, tokra would be dead by now, and Goa'ulds control earth

doubtful. If this were translated into reality there would be no stargate and no Goa'uld.

I don't think it's relevant to argue about jaffa-tok'ra relation... The only thing important, that they are both worth more and are more powerfull than goa'ulds...
