Wasn't the turn counter changed to give the same number of turns to everyone, regardless of rank?

Ascended server was a good idea in theory, but it really is a chore. >.<
Descension is the only thing that there's to be scared of. >_>

if it was then i haven't noticed, i'm sure when i crept up to rank 200 after forgetting to sell my weapons i stopped getting 5 per turn. That was about a week ago now...

I think the problem with main is peoples views on it.
Some people take it way to serious and because of that a lot act like children.
their views being if i can't win the other player can't either - i would rather destroy the game than accept defeat in a GAME. Most then become mostly inactive and that childish behaviour has cost them a game they enjoy.
I think players who role play are the best cos they see it for what it is - A GAME.
Yes in a WAr i can sit there for ever with 0 stats and come on once every couple of weeks mass and disappear again just ppting to get naq to do it again but thats not a game - thats what a desperate person does in Real WAR. and we all know there is never a winner there.
If this game had clear ways to end wars - or more people who saw it for what it is - a distraction from RL. then any of these updates that people dont like wouldn't matter so much
As for ascention - well yes i think thats just screwed lol

-simply do away with accounts that haven't signed on in months
-lower turns per tick
-get rid of pergatory
-create a feature so you can only attack 10 fold in army size, if you have 100 mil army size you cant hit someone with 10 mil army size. And works the same way. or something along those lines
-Limit quantities of planets. no more than 3-4 max of 5 of one type
-lower number of covert capicity
and ascended realm is a chore. i dread signing in to it.

You would see a major tick up in ascended if raiding were brought back. No one would be able to sit around with their entire army in untrained. To make it reasonably fair to smaller accounts, Admin would also have to change Initiate Revolution so that it didn't untrain income planets, only attack/defense.
If Admin brought back raiding (with no raiding cap like main), activity on ascended would increase and it would start to be fun again. Recovery from massing would be possible even when your account was well over the 2 billion cap. "Sniper" accounts would have no safe place to hide their army during strikes except as income planets which would increase the number of available farms.

i got a better idea what to do in acsended
remove charisma and production upgrades
and decrease everyone's army by their respective charisma levels
snipers don't care about getting wiped or even if they'd be forced to train into income planets, they always only wait to recover their planet count and turns, the income that would be farmed from them doesn't weaken them,
if they would have trained income planets and loose the income or keep untrained planets, it's no difference to them.
and it wouldn't really increase amount of farms.

Figure out why I do play ascended and not main lol
Then you get the answer.

Oh is it your joke of the year input?

(red colour part)
Ascended server with raiding was without any doubt on earth the worst game I ever played in my life, including rl games and consoles games in the count!
I think that people have a SHORT and SELECTIVE memory. They also seem to have forgot why the word "Dormant" disappeared from half of ACTIVE players!

I got a better idea for ascended:
-stop proposing to make it be crap again (raiding)
-reduce assassin power
-increase covert effects from covert attacks
everything else is useless to be changed as it's ok!

yes the game is dying it pointless to try to do anything as it just got destroyed so easierly mean it no effect to take out something that mean take month or 2 to build up, mean it should take hell of alot more effect to stop someone and the fact anyone can mass anything atm no matter of size. mean the server war is so pointless atm and it been going on want nearly a year now

to be honest, we're all posting what we think is wrong with the game, yet none of us are doing anything to fix it, the bully's of the game, the attitudes, admin cant fix that, we, the players, can. it has to be a two way effort, both by admin and the players, so lets do what we can to keep it from dying.

Yes well i think this is where the real problem starts.
Identifying the problems is already a good step forward but let's be honest with each other.
Most of the worlds population are lazy bums who don't really like doing anything other than complain every now and then (even if the complaints sometimes are actually justified, although not always).
So the chance of the players actually doing anything as a community is rather slim, unless the players would get some ingame ability to enforce certain behavior (dunno something like a community voted in council/tribunal receiving special privileges ingame in order to punish those who we want to "fix" or change or be done with).
Other than that as stated the other half of the problem are certain sucky updates. Admin fixing them, has a much higher chance of happening than the problems that are caused by the players themselves to be solved by the community.
Anyone able to find flaws in my reasoning? I'll welcome constructive criticism
