He removed that part since spying is unlimited and a planet can only give 50% of the natural strike/def. He thought it wasn't needed

since the updates the game is crazy laggy. anyone else getting the lag? and i dont just mean around the turn change either. its all the time

Well actually sab is more powerful then weapons (relatively speaking). Weapon power was doubled. Sab maximum potential was doubled (2-4%) as WELL as taking LESS covert turns (2 not 3) AND allowing MORE hits before phase.


The idea of the increased sab was a shot at snipers. But now that you only need half the weapons and Soldiers to hold the original attack. So doubling sabotage you will only kill the same amount as you would (well thats if the people sell their weapons to attain their original attack power), the sabotage power would roughly be the same anyway, if not a slight increase that wouldnt be as much as if the attack and defence remained the same.

didnt have time to read through them all, but if it hasnt been mentioned...

The game is really Laggy, which makes farming and raiding very frustarateing


will this be fixed????

the old value for naq stolen .0001 was okay, it meant 1Q to 1b UU which is okay, but id like to see it down a notch and i agree with *that guy* that said before .00001 middle ground seems reasonable

i like everything except for the covert and anti covert. some people have put alot of naquadah into theyre coverts to get power, now its impossible. i know that they are the same rank. but dont cut it down that much my total power is now a 3rd of what it was.

This bothers you why?

Its all relative to the rest of the server so now you'll actually need to build a def and strike to gain power instead of having members with 20mil AC sitting on level 30 that dont play anymore....

Everyone's power has gone down equally, so your complaint is moot. :?

I actuallly disagree with changing the values and I'll tell you why.
.0001 per naq stolen
100 per UU raided
Those values allowed for raiders and farmers to also compete for the higher ME ranks. Therefore in order to have the top ranks, you didn't only have to be a warrior. It allowed more flexibility in playing style. Most of the top 20 ranks were your aggressive players and massers, but around rank 20.. you had BillusBallus who is one of the top raiders in the game. I was also around that rank and I'm known for my farming. If you change either of those values, you are saying that the only way to have the most ME is if you play one style of game.

I thought the implementation of attack being less effective was a good idea, however...on the 10 odd accounts that I have tested it against...it is absurd.

You cannot remove a defence if critical and nox is on. It takes far too long.

On top of this, I was using a 10T strike against 1T defences and quite simply, I was taking double the losses.

You just took the only thing that I enjoy out the game.

Edit - In addition to this, I don't think it is possible to take out a fully noxed up defender...on the basis that they will phase each time. Giving at least an hour before you can destroy weapons.

Well ok I noticed allot of comments on how these updates are supposed to close the gap. Yet for new players trying to get into the game selling at weps back at 10% is a bit harsh to them I believe.

Since coming back and starting a new account from scratch I have to ascend and grow both as quickly as possible. To do so I have to have an offense. Yet in order to grow as fast as possible I need to do my own raiding and doing so with a high offense is costly in naq, so I have to sell my weps because after ascending I need to buy a strike right away to get into G&R range and then buy it back again right after.

So now with these new prices on strike weps it's gonna cost a fair bit of naq to sell them. While it's bad enough the players market has raised at prices 10times since last I played and new players are hard pressed to afford them and it's nice we can get more from mts which we have yet to see how players market will be effected by that. I wish the attack weps would stay the same after all it's always seemed more people get annoyed when people sell their def and not their att in wars.

I was farming when suddenly everytime I tried to attack with 15 turns I've ended up attacking with 0. lol?

EDIT: I lost my turns also :(
