And you did a good job of it too, Ice finished off my defense after you knocked me down a bit ^.^

Dropped off ppt and looked around and saw that Angelos had a defense right around 4T so I started on him, Ended up sabbing him for a while, ran out of covert turns 1 hit before destroying the last of his defensive weapons. Then Katsumoto came and massed and sabbed me enough for Ice Dragon to take over. After Ice finished massing me I rebuilt a defense and spies only to discover that I had covert phased Angelos as well so then I had to wait for an hour before finishing the job and ACing his spies. While waiting I got distracted and Massacre massed my defense away again.

Pardon my ignorance but what exactly is the point of this war? Tradition has always had if someone has a beef with someone else, you take it up with them. Even I know that about DDE. I also know they are solid people (I wanted to be one at a time) but I cant exactly understand the point of all of this. Just for the record I wont attack anyone in any alliance of DDE. Even in a play war. Respect is respect. You don't screw with it even in play.

I think what Clarkey meant was that since pretty much every other Gen/Battle mod is involved in this, it is against the rules for them to moderate.

Ok so can I take a stab at the reason for the war? People sometimes get all this pent up anger *grrr* and they then decide to pick a fight *ohnoes* of course everyone gets *grr* now and therefore we have a war. Any reasoning beyond that is unnecessary, I will see TDC ingame shortly.

To everyone else in TDC have fun, keep it light hearted. Depending on the end date I should be able to put up at least a 3-5tril def every login after my initial def goes down.

Hello Angnoch. I am not much of a fighter as I don't even remember how to mass someoone. I know it something to do with a ton of turns and a rock. That is about all. You could mass all of us but it would not do much good. You guys hit us good earlier. I am just a quiet builder who wants to ascend. I just learned recently how to build a decent farming list. I may have been playing this game for a few years but with my Ph.D. program keeping me busy, I am still just a beginner. I once applied to DDE and I was going to be in a training alliance but my army size was too small.

Maybe you can explain this to me. All of this started over a beef between two guys? Why dont they just duke it out.

Actually, it's not against the rules for us to mod, it's just advised against, due to the potential for bias to be involved. If we are confident that our modding will not be biased, we can mod it, and if we are found to be biased, then we get in trouble

Could someone be so kind as to explain to me how to mass? I am the quietest person in this alliance I believe. I am more of the resident Philosopher then anything else.

We just want a legitimate reason, not some BS one. Even if their reason is "we're bored", that's better than their current one.

I think all of the posts and insinuations you all are making is pretty much answering your own questions..but then you can always follow the advice of dragons and huxley and adapt thier reasoning or lack thereof.

JT had nothing todo with it, he wanted (our younglins) TSD to be left out so booted us to commandos

Sometimes (hehe...SOMETIMES? often..) a member of DDE will be somewhat disrespectful in someone else's thread, when this happens one of 2 things is done by DDE HC, we either, slap them silly and make them edit the post, or we snigger and say ok, well all for one and one for all, if the proverbial hits the fan we got your back...

Sometimes someone from another alliance is disprespectful of DDE...(hehe...SOMETIMES? often..) the proverbial hits the fan, because either, his HC has not got a tight reign on him, or they have sniggered, agreed, and not realized this means they are basically accepting the consequences... not fair? well maybe not but I quote :

NB I'm not IN the commandos, just here to try to keep things civil, and to do the diplomatic stuff (DDE's diplomatic office can be found near the broom cupboard....well ok, technically it is a shelf withing the broom cupboard...)


any of HVE's smallest accounts that want out are advised to move to the one HVE alliance we have said we will not attack, but the boys and girls of the commandos do not want to reduce the war to 15x15, they are happy to take on the whole 50 if need be
