If possible, can a mod split off the posts that are in reference to doing something for the children. I know FreeSpirit posted something regarding a site and it will be more visible if all of these are in their own thread in the spirit of giving :-)

I can see the card we sent. Its the red and green and it is right next to the girls right shoulder :-D

That card was a hand print on our daughter. It was from me and my wife (psyche) and we hope it made a small contribution.

Im very glad it arrived :D

You may think we are horrible people in game, but we are not all bad in real life :-D

Also just now saw this thread... Sorry I missed it-but I did send up a quick prayer for her just now.

About the book thing-Xmas is a really short schedule to pull this off. I'd rather see it done well. Why not aim for a truly publishable book for next xmas? A couple months for writing-a couple months for edits, the publishing and distribution? I know its not the immediate gratification-but I think it would be better long term.

I'm not much of a writer-but I have family members that do editing professionally and teach writing classes at the Ph.D. level-with a little time I can get it edited by them.

As far as publishing-theres really cheap publishing in the Philippines-and I can get things published there cheaply, then shipped to the states at little to no cost (I can normally get someone to carry it in their suitcases for me).

The other thing the book would need is graphics-they should be done to accompany the stories-we have plenty of artists here. Once the pieces are written we can have our artists do up matching artwork... I can work some with layout-and I'm sure others can also.

I'm willing to help with the organization of this project, and contribute some financially... Please let me know what I can do.

my messenger is cyberblade3001@yahoo.com if anyone wants to add me.
