Gotta agree... it'd be unfair to lone wolfs to be left far behind due to the fact they don't have/want to use the time to be in an alliance. You shouldn't effectively punish players because of that.

Besides: Lore is right. Anything that boosts an alliance, is something which ALWAYS punishes smaller alliances and/or lone wolfs. I'm just getting afraid by the thought what happens if (for example) TJP and FUALL would get stat upgrades... brrrrr....

Suggestion:

Allow the alliance to use the naq to purchase one-time use special attacks.

For example (and I'm making up numbers off the top of my head), for 3 trillion naq, the alliance can purchase the ability to do a single 15 turn strike on a single account, even through PPT. It would allow the alliance to farm an enemy player one time, hopefully to grab more naq than the attack cost.

Or, maybe the ability to calculate the exact time a PPT for an enemy account will end.

Or, the alliance could risk their entire alliance bank on hitting an enemy alliance and stealing their bank, something based on the different between the two bank values and some random multiplier. So, say your alliance had 10 trillion banked and you hit your enemy that had 6 trillion, you have a 1 in 4 chance of taking it all. If you fail, they get some % of your bank in exchange, maybe up to their current bank size. So, you strike with a 10 trillion bank and have a 25% change of stealing 6 trillion but if you fail, you could lose 6 trillion of your bank.

/shrug

Just ideas... they probably all suck.

I could see the striking through PPT one, but it would need to be costly, and tricky.

I actually like the PPT end one kinna well, cuz honestly, what is it really telling you? and what good is it when they can bank the turn before, or rePPT.


Last one, I am not to keen on, no naq is lost so it grows infinently, I think the naq needs to be spent and removed from the game.

I only say this because once Admin suggested a bonus for Lone Wolf accounts. But he decided against it. Therefore alliances should not get an advantage to use against Lone Wolf accounts.


but if dey did it wud b all the more reason for someone to join an alliance


However i suggest it be used strictly for alliance wars or for a ALLIANCE MOTHERSHIP or something along those lines

i dont agree it shud be shared out for all the members as it wud be easily abused

well i havent read all 13 pages of suggestions on the new alliance bank but i have some suggestions myself that i dont think/hope anyone else has posted.

I think the ban should only benefit all in the alliance not just one specific member. I think the bank should be a tool for both war and non war time.

Ideas as making the members bank capacity bigger and simular is great

but i think it should be of help when you are at war. ive never been at war but i can think of a few things that the bank can help your alliance in war. for example you can upgrade so you can have a certain percent more mercs when at war because you need every man around and for a brief period you can have more mercs then usuall depending on how much the alliance have upgraded it. when war is over the limit will go down to normal

you should also be able to buy upgrades so you attack, defence, covert etc increase its power a certain percent at war in a simular way as the merc suggestion

maby even have alliance planets benefiting the whole alliance equal on attack, def, up etc when at war. Every alliance can have 10 planets of various attributes but you can only benefit from them during war. also during a war you can steal the enemies planets. since its alliance planets they should be harder to steal. got a couple of ideas how this could be.

* for example you need 3 players to attack a planet within a certain time limit to be able to steal them.

* since these planets are property of the whole alliance everyones ms protect these planets making it a huge battle were everyones ms battle for the planet.

* to weaken the planets defence you need to mass 3 players ms to give you an opportunity to take on the planet defences.

* or just do it the good old fashioned way and have your ms attack a planets defence. if so the defence on these planets need to be alot higher than usuall since these are more powerful

* if you already have 10 planets in the alliance you will destroy the planet you conqured.

planet attributes and defence can only be upgraded with alliance bank




The alliance leader should be able to decide how big percent of members income should be going in the alliance bank.

I think I remember a similar idea being shot down because it could be exploited.

However, we could have the bonuses work only at specific times against specific people. The alliance planets also seem like a good idea, but I'm not too sure... might need to work on that.
