size of canvas...focal point...depth...lighting...flow...typo....animations, vids...techniques...tools...there are lots of thing to handle in order to create a good sig. Even if you might be considered masterby some, others will not be willing to approve that and some stuff just wont work, people wont like it, coz they all have different tastes, so you really have to be good with all tools, variosity of techniques and especially good in understanding what people demand...
I checked the first page and checked the last one in this thread and there is a progres in your work - where there is a will, there is also a way, but you should not forget that it will be a hard work. I encourage you to go on, ask if you have to and if there is noone to ask - experiment and read tuts...
BTW that House sig looks familiar because that render is well known and used quite a lot since House is so popular...), just to defend the author
