SGW League Fantasy Football 2010-2011 Season

Hows everybodys teams doing...I have had to make a few extra subs in the last few weeks and they did not pay off...but i am still somehow up to second in this league and still running away with it in the Runcorn league....they are semi pro footballers as well and i have owned their arses all season...it's the head to head style league i have won 23 drawn 1 and only lost 7 total points 70 for this season and they is only a handful more games to go if i win 3 points today the league is mine

HAI guys.. i retiree form gatewars like 6 months ago, but if you remember nightlight we have a deal... i opwe you five from xmas, and a mate who now has my account i might be able to convince to pay up, but we shall wait to see if its double or nothing as i am only 7 behind you with toure, meireles and tevez to play, while you have only kuyt and skrtel..

If you are no longer playing the game we can come up with another "payment" at the end of the season...Something stupid like changing your name to nightlights bit ch on this forum and everytime i post you have to agree with it and also praise it to the hill so to speak....and if you win i can do the same and the loser has to do it for a month

I am doing better this year then last i am up to 2nd and am hopefull i can keep it and hopefully get a mega point week and make up some ground on who ever is first...they is still points to be had and until the last game ends i am going to try and win the league..Dirk is the man at the moment he has earned me loads of points in the last few games...i am just trying to figure out who to get as my extra striker this week from Manchester City or Spurs..(extra game) none of them have good strikers bar Tevez...they both have better midfield players

As a Liverpool fan i want both of them teams to lose the rest of there games and Liverpool to nick 4th...i can dream but you never know

Yeah, I went with Yaya Toure and set him as captain, I don't have the fancy cash to splash out on the likes of Tevez, I don't think Tottenham are playing with much ambition at the moment.

I'm hoping to stay in the top ten as the season ends, I could dream of a 5th place finish though

I am gutted for Blackpool...even though i am a Liverpool fan..Blackpool play the type of football thats fun to watch attacking...the you score 3 goals we will try and score 4...it's a shame they have gone down when crap teams like Wigan stay up

On another note i am over the moon with my season in the FFL....I think i have finished second and would have finished first if Loopervil did not join half way though the season...I demand a gatewars name and ID number so i can check he is eligible to play in our league if none our provided i am going to say i won the league ......but in all serious well done to Loopervil you won by quite a bit in the end
To everybody i had bets with at the start of the season because i am a nice player and don't really need the nac or men i will let you off with what you owe me...hopefully next season i can go one step more and win the bloody league

Are we doing the league again next season...if so we could maybe have two leagues at the start that one and the one where you go head to head with each other as well as total points.....that way i will be able to win both of them

Just for fun if you had to compare your team in the gatewars league with a premiship team this season who do you think you are ( please don't put down the team you support unless you think you was like them ) over the course of the season and the reason why...
I am going to say my team was like Manchester City....the reason : i was making alot of noise at the start of the season (read the first few pages of this topic to see why) and i somehow managed to stay near the top most of the season and end up in the top 4...even though i only finished in the top 6 last season and i would have been happy with a top 6 finish again

Also Liverpool for the league next season...No Europe so King Kenny can spend all his time getting us back on top

I would say I am Arsenal, started good, went good, then not so good, then good again and last couple of months of season were bad. <_<
If nobody does a league next season, I will. And yes, good to make two of them, with head to head.

Started rubbish, dropped low (Was at the bottom the first few weeks after a shocking start) around January I made some big changes with the wild card, constant playing of a string team to rise up the table and ultimately finish in 6th

Well 5th since Loopervil doesn't play SGW *shifty glances*
